On the 8th of May, 1945, the Allied forces who fought World War II in the West celebrated “VE Day” or “Victory in Europe Day”. Cities in most of the Allied nations, as well as formerly occupied cities in Western Europe, raised flags and banners, rejoicing in the defeat of the Nazi war machine.
Finally, on the 8th of May, German troops throughout Europe laid down their arms: In Prague, Germans surrendered to their Soviet counterparts, after the latter had lost more than 8,000 soldiers, and the Germans many more; in Copenhagen and Oslo; at Karlshorst, near Berlin; in northern Latvia; on the Channel Island of Sark — the German surrender was completed in a final cease-fire. More surrender documents were signed in Berlin and in Eastern Germany.

I hate events like this, I spent 4 hours today grinding just trying to get a flying baguette and I got nothing out of it, please Gaijin... Also on a side note is there a chance there will be another event where I can get the Db-7 in the future because I am praying there will be.
Most probably it's not the last chance to get DB-7 :)
and how can we check our progression on the ppsh and the decal?
I care about this too, dont know how and when could get the prizes...
Realistic battle, 3 kill, 1st in point, in flight until the end and only 63% battle activity ?
just a head up for people doing the ppsh challenge dont even attempt it in realistic or sim i tried that for 2 hours over a variety of planes and got zero missions over 75% so i went to arcade and literally got the challenges done in about 1hour.
I totally agree - played 23 battles this afternoon (RB air) and the max activity I could achieve was 72% (2 kills 3 assists) and mostly 69% even with 3 kills ... long battles, chasing spaceships included but that shouldn't disqualify you - why always those backdoor restrictions that in the end force you into arcade?? :(
it irritates me but i knew this was gonna happen i got 80%+ battle activity in all the games in that hour it was the wins that took the time. all i did was fur ball in p47, cannon stang and my xf5f. they changed how its calculated in a recent update so its no longer score based and seems to now be proximity to enemys and damage so in realistic your never gonna get that as the first 5 mins is positioning ones self for the enemy's.
The Battle activity in RB is Broken as hell, one RB (air) 3 kill's only 69% activity. Playing BR tanks have caps and many kills (nr 4 in the team) and only 73% activity. How broken is activity in RB? The one battle I had with 76% in RB air (finaly) I needed 4 kills to get it.
For the ground forces, I think this should be a Russian only tournament being that almost no one else is using anything else. I'd like to know if anyone in the top 200 used American or British tanks. Maybe it's just me, but I'm finding it very hard to compete in my American tanks and I'm rarely seeing anyone else in American or British.
I think this is the second time in a row that all allied premiums are on discount. I mean, sure, I can see why giving axis vehicles discounts on the anniversary of the invasion of Poland or the attack on Pearl Harbor would be a bad idea. The question then is, when are we getting discounts on all the vehicles that fought on the losing side if not on the anniversary of VE day?
They could do discounts on the day that Germany commemorates its reunification, the 3rd of October I believe.
