On the 8th of May, 1945, the Allied forces who fought World War II in the West celebrated “VE Day” or “Victory in Europe Day”. Cities in most of the Allied nations, as well as formerly occupied cities in Western Europe, raised flags and banners, rejoicing in the defeat of the Nazi war machine.
Finally, on the 8th of May, German troops throughout Europe laid down their arms: In Prague, Germans surrendered to their Soviet counterparts, after the latter had lost more than 8,000 soldiers, and the Germans many more; in Copenhagen and Oslo; at Karlshorst, near Berlin; in northern Latvia; on the Channel Island of Sark — the German surrender was completed in a final cease-fire. More surrender documents were signed in Berlin and in Eastern Germany.

Fight through hordes of German tanks through the streets of Berlin, help your allies to repel the counter attack and neutralize the remaining enemy forces. Victory will be ours!
In the PvE mission 'Victory Hour' your main task is to destroy all forces defending the Reichstag. Follow the waypoints and advance with full force!

I won't buy anything. If it was 50%,i wouls buy 11 premium planes(i even made a list with prices). 30% is too low,i will wait until november.

There's never a dull moment. There's always events and things to do in War Thunder :) I will be relaxing & enjoying Victory Day, going to get that Victory Decal & PPSh SMG deco in the process. I probably won't join the 'Victory Day' Tournaments; I already got the MBR-2, Iron Duke & KV-2 1940. Enough Premiums for me. XD

Mhhh I still have 290 days of premium left and I don't even know if I will still play WT after my premium expires. But those -50% on premium events seem to be so rare that I still consider if I buy another year. Let's hope Gaijin makes the decision that your premium account is also useable in other games like e.g. Crossout, just as Wargaming does it for their games. Would give me a real incentive to buy premium and also give Crossout a longer try
