Born in the village of Sinyavino in August 1915, Boris Froktistovich Safonov was raised in a peasant family before studying at an industrial school. Twice decorated as a Hero of the Soviet Union, as well as the Order of Lenin and three Orders of the Red Banner, Lieutenant Colonel Boris Safonov was the first of the great aces of the Soviet Union.

Hans-Joachim Marseille was a German Luftwaffe pilot and one of the most highly decorated and successful fighter aces of World War II. With a total of 158 accredited aerial victories at only 22 years of age, Marseille became a legend in Germany.

Formed 1906 as a department of the Bulgarian army, the Bulgarian Air Force has a long tradition of military aviation. As a participant in both World Wars, Bulgarian pilots flew in various machines both imported and of indigenous design.

György Debrődy was one of the most successful Hungarian fighter aces of the Second World War. Flying Bf109s supplied by Germany, Debrődy fought against the forces of the Soviet Union and the USAAF. He was awarded many of his nation's most prestigious decorations and was one of the top scoring aces of all Germany's allies in the European Theatre of Operations.

The Spanish Air Force is one of the oldest Air Forces of the world. It saw combat use in many conflicts and especially in the Spanish Civil War, where Republican and National forces fought for the future of Spain.

After it's first flight in October 1934, the SB family of Soviet two-engined fast bombers saw its main service during the Spanish Civil War and the early half of World War II. While one of the most modern and fast aircraft during its introduction in 1934, it aged quickly with the emergence of new and modern fighter aircraft during World War II. 

"Victory is ours" is our third mini-move, it has recieved over 2 million views and was positively recieved by viewers from all over the world. We would like to present the background of the creation of "War Thunder: Victory is ours" and one of the alternative versions of the mini-movie.
