We’re excited to introduce a new vehicle type to War Thunder: strategic bombers capable of carrying both conventional and nuclear armaments! They’ll be joining the research trees and making a big splash in combined battles. You may have seen nuclear detonations in War Thunder before — but not often. Strategic aviation will change everything!
Time for big explosions: within a single battle, you’ll be able to move from the familiar high explosive bombs to tactical and then strategic nuclear weapons. What kind of shockwave can ground vehicle armor withstand? Will the AA guns and missiles manage — especially considering aircraft will receive anti-radiation missiles to suppress them?
