Strategic bombers with nuclear bombs are coming to War Thunder!
We’re excited to introduce a new vehicle type to War Thunder: strategic bombers capable of carrying both conventional and nuclear armaments! They’ll be joining the research trees and making a big splash in combined battles. You may have seen nuclear detonations in War Thunder before — but not often. Strategic aviation will change everything!
Time for big explosions: within a single battle, you’ll be able to move from the familiar high explosive bombs to tactical and then strategic nuclear weapons. What kind of shockwave can ground vehicle armor withstand? Will the AA guns and missiles manage — especially considering aircraft will receive anti-radiation missiles to suppress them? Under these new conditions, air superiority will be decisive!

As much as this being real, i hope the Bombers actually stay in the tech tree, id love to f have them and bomb bases with them !!!!!!

dont treat me like this. ive been wanting the bomber tree to be updated for a long time now for sim matches.
It's hard to see the nukes properly in VR, they would be really impressive.
There REALLY needs to be a few "reserve" aircraft that people who havent grinded for top-tier USA/Rus can play, I can barely even play and thats because I've gotten event vehicles from over the years.
