History of Finnish tanks
Don't forget - you can now activate video subtitles!
Finland is not well known for its arms manufacturing prowess, and there is a reason for that: before the mid-20th century, the government simply didn’t have the means to develop the industry, and during the Cold War, political complications arose. Historically and geographically, though, Finland could not really remain truly neutral: after the events of the Winter War and the Second World War, the country found itself between the devil and the deep blue sea, squeezed between two massive geopolitical blocs.

Comments will be premoderatedWhy did you guys feel the need to just read wiki articles for this? The video is pretty misleading and very blatantly misinformed on finnish tank history. BT series tanks weren't actually liked by finnish crews and the Christie battalion was disbanded after 3 months due to the poor quality and effectiveness of the BT series with many being used for basic turret mounts for defense. Additionally the T-72's weren't retired in the 2010's but early 2005. Overall it felt kinda rushed in quality.
finland is a very wonderful country finland has a huge history of greatness
hopefully more indigenous finnish tanks and vehicles will be added to War Thunder

Loved this. 👍
Finnish stug *insert john travolta meme*
Fun Fact: 9 T-55M tanks were still in use by FDF in 2022, they are now retired. A very very long service life.
