Might of the US: History of American Bombers
Don't forget - you can now activate video subtitles!
During World War II, the U.S. bomber aviation was a force to be reckoned with, and its massive contribution to the eventual defeat of the Axis powers is absolutely indisputable. The mighty American industry built tens of thousands of bombers of all types, from single-engine carrier-based dive bombers to strategic B-17s and B-24s. Not to mention the legendary B-29 and B-32: true marvels of engineering.

Thats a prominently featured DUTCH coloured B-10B in a video about AMERICAN bombers.... I wonder if a teaser is getting teased or something....dunno...must be a 100% coincidence
American bombers don't seem mighty in air arcade. Often they physically break in half after a couple of shots from the enemy, though I'm not sure how much of it is me having a skill issue.
If the B-29 had a better fire control system like it did irl, Its gunners could be significantly more lethal, But nope, Also why mention the B-36, You Tease!! American maritime bombers were also great feats and aircraft. Suchas the P2V neptunes, Later versions of the PB2Y-2s, P4M-1’s. Heck even B-50D!
Now that bombers get a rare spotlight. When will we start getting bomber cockpit models? I've been staring at placeholders since 2017 :)
Not entirely true that the B-29 didn't serve in Europe during World War II. One of the early models was sent to Britain specifically to be caught by German reconnaissance aircraft and photographed, forcing them to allocate Research and Development resources against a bomber they would never face in combat.
As much as I would love to see a return to form for bombers in the game for players, I think we all know that it is NOT going to happen. Gaijin outright refuses to do anything to change ARB for the better, especially when it comes to bombers. The best thing we could hope for is to introduce some sort of PvE mode for CAS and bomber craft similar to what helis got, but there's a snowman's change in Hell of that happening.
If you are going to neglect bombers at least give them a PVE mode where you fly in formations and people can join as fighter escorts. Also HD cockpits when?
We really need "old 666" the famous B-17 gunship, be it a squadron unlock or premium having such an iconic bomber would be amazing!
