106 years ago on April 1st 1918 the Royal Air Force was founded, making it the first official and independent air force in the world. Since this day, the RAF has been involved in many conflicts throughout the 20th century. Perhaps the most famous one is the Battle of Britain, where ‘The Few’ defended British skies against the Luftwaffe, preventing a German invasion.

Some of the most famous aircraft of the RAF include the Hurricane, Typhoon, Spitfire, Lancaster, Meteor, Hunter and Harrier. Today, the RAF operates around 500 aircraft.

When: From March 29th (13:00 GMT) until April 2nd (07:00 GMT).

Task: Play 3 battles using British aircraft of rank III or higher to receive the “RAF Day 2024” decal!

Additional details:

“Royal Air Force Day" decal
  • You must use a minimum of rank III.
  • Your activity must not be below 70%.
  • You can complete the task in random battles, except for Enduring Confrontation missions, [Assault] mode and Helicopter PVE battles.
  • Track your progress in the hangar by clicking Nickname → Achievements → Holidays → RAF Day.
  • You can find the decal in the “Holidays” tab in the Customization menu.

The Typhoon Mk Ib is temporarily available for Golden Eagles

This British classic can be purchased for 1,930 Golden Eagles.

When: From March 29th (13:00 GMT) until April 2nd (07:00 GMT).

Where: Great Britain > Aviation > Premium vehicles.

About this aircraft

  • The Typhoon Mk Ib is a fighter aircraft that can carry an assortment of weapons, including up to 2 x 1000 lb bombs and 8 x RP-3 rockets. With a top speed of over 600 km/h and four 20 mm Hispano Mk.II cannons, the Typhoon Mk Ib is more than capable in air battles as well as ground battles when performing close air support.
