On July 14th, 1789, Parisians stormed the Bastille — a prison fortress that became one of the symbols of French absolute monarchy. Since 1880 this date has been celebrated as the main national holiday in France, with an annual military parade held on Champs-Élysées, one of the oldest and largest in the entire world.
Milan and S.O.4050 Vautour IIN for Golden Eagles
From July 14th (12:00 GMT) until July 17th (12:00 GMT), the premium French jets Milan and S.O.4050 Vautour IIN will be available for Golden Eagles.
The Milan is an experimental version of the Mirage fighter that can reach amazing speeds and outrun most of the aircraft on its BR. It can drop bombs while maintaining speeds of over Mach 1, and also carry rockets and AGMs — it can also drop all its tanks to increase aerial performance: even without suspended weaponry, its DEFA cannons are a force to be reckoned with!
The S.O.4050 Vautour IIN is a jet bomber, the bane of enemy bases. It can also fend for itself with the same four 30 mm DEFA cannons, and its wide assortment of suspended weaponry includes AA-20 Nord AGMs with proximity fuze. Also, if the skies are covered by your teammates, take AS-30 Nord AGMs to leave ground vehicles with no chance of survival!
“Cocarde de France” decal
From July 14th (12:00 GMT) until July 17th (12:00 GMT), play 3 battles using French vehicles (rank III or higher, with an activity of not less than 70%) to receive the “Cocarde de France” decal.
Complete the task in random battles, except for Enduring Confrontation missions and [Assault] mode. Track your progress in the hangar by clicking Nickname → Achievements → Holidays → Bastille Day.
You can find the decal in the “Holidays” tab in the Customisation menu.
