Book of Records: German Aircraft
The German tech tree is one of the largest in all of War Thunder. Germans started building aircraft at the very beginning of the 20th century, and their industry has a very rich and turbulent history. At one point, there was even a split into two major warring camps! Today, though, we are here to celebrate the best designs that Germany has to offer: the fastest, the most agile... and most historically important aircraft!

Comments will be premoderatedThere was plenty of innovation durring the cold war by Germany. The thing though was it was mostly prototypes that didn't see full production.
We need more cool WWII German aircraft, official decals and camos for them.
Between the war Germany was a leading pioneer of aircraft, the Versailles Treaty did little to slow them down. Hugo Junker and Claudius Dornier are the pioneers in metal aircraft technology and designs, producing successful metal aircraft years before others could. Both where mechanical engineers who understood the properties of metals to design strong but light structures, a key to aircraft design.
