On July 1st, 1926 the Swedish Air Force was created by merger of airborne divisions of army and navy. Even though it didn’t participate in World War II, it was preparing to by raising its numbers — and kept doing it in the beginning of the Cold War. By 1957 Sweden held the fourth most powerful air force in the world, consisting of a thousand modern aircraft. After the Cold War ended, Sweden massively decreased the number of aircraft in its service: currently its Air Force employs only about 200 vehicles.
J29D and J35A Fighters for Golden Eagles
From June 30th (09:00 GMT) until July 4th (09:00 GMT) two Swedish jet fighters will be available for purchase for Golden Eagles.
J29D Tunnan looks really weird, but don’t let its appearance fool you: it’s really fast and well-equipped, perfect for any role! J35A Draken is capable of going supersonic, and yet it turns quite quickly, and thanks to that it often emerges victorious in air duels.
“Swedish Air Force Day” decal
From 30th (09:00 GMT) until July 4th (09:00 GMT), play 3 battles using Swedish aircraft (rank III or higher, with an activity of not less than 70%) to receive the “Swedish Air Force Day” decal.
Complete the task in random battles, except for Enduring Confrontation missions and [Assault] mode. Track your progress in the hangar by clicking Nickname → Achievements → Holidays → Swedish Air Force Day.
You can find the decal in the “Holidays” tab in the Customisation menu.

Thanks :)
Yoo the J29D is back!
super cool decal, definitely picking that up. why use the Finnish Draken for the thumbnail? it is a swedish event right? the J-35D exists which is a swedish draken...
No this is the stuff I can get behind!!! GET YOURSELF SOME OF THAT!
Dammit... another opportunity to get the J29D and J35A, and I'm broke... 😭 That decal is boss, though. 👍
