D-Day historical events
From June 2nd (12:00 GMT) until June 7th (7:00 GMT)
Participate in 6 events with historical presets of ground vehicles and aircraft. In air RB in addition to the [Operation] mission, an [Assault] mission is also available for more dynamic gameplay.
D-Day decal
From June 2nd (12:00 GMT) until June 7th (7:00 GMT), play 3 battles using American and British vehicles (rank III or higher, with an activity of not less than 70%) to receive the “D-Day text” decal.
Complete the task in random battles, except for Enduring Confrontation missions and [Assault] mode. Track your progress in the hangar by clicking Nickname → Achievements → Holidays → D-Day.
You can find the decal in the “Holidays” tab in the Customisation menu.
D-Day Tournament Series
Register right now and from June 2nd through to the 8th participate in tournaments of aircraft, naval and ground vehicles. 14 tournaments with a combined prize pool of 163 000 GE, and also a special “D-Day” decal and “Normandy Ace” title. Join the official eSport Discord community.

Wish we would get historical decals with the events instead of boring text or uniform badges tbh.
this is just what mm looked like back before they added more Jets to rank V and broke the matchmaker, now the 2017 Battle of Britain event was an actual event
Appreciate the thought about adding a historical event, but... What is the point of the event, when it is just regular battles on regular maps, with just a more limited pool of vehicles than usual? It doesn't even have historical split in the team composition. On top of that, the connection to server in event battles is worse than usual, making it unplayable for me.

Allowing Germany to have the Tiger E 5.7 br and not giving any of the 76mm Sherman 5.7 variants is maddening to play against

Why cant we use the P47D or P51C in the event?
I remember when WT gave out special historical camos for an event (I think it was for D-Day a few years ago). is it possible to bring rewards like that back? Decals are nice, but majority of them are not strictly historical.
Why isn't France an option for the D-Day decal? French Commando Kieffer were the first to be unloaded on Sword beach...
