Dear players,
Firstly, we would like to extend our sincerest apologies to each and every one of you. We deeply regret the fact that our actions have let you down, and that we have failed to adequately address the concerns you have voiced over time. We share your passion for the game, and it pains us that our decisions have not lived up to your expectations.
Over the past week, we've been diligently analyzing the feedback you've provided. We acknowledge and agree with your concerns regarding the balance of the economy (Silver Lions and Research Points), as well as modification research. We have therefore prioritized addressing these issues as our immediate concern.
We are in the process of creating a plan to tackle these problems. While we have made some initial progress in understanding the scope of these issues and potential solutions, we anticipate providing a more detailed roadmap by the 14th of June.
We understand the urgency you feel for changes to be implemented, and we assure you, we share your eagerness. However, given the scale and complexity of a project like War Thunder, some time is required to ensure that any changes we make are both effective and beneficial to the player experience.
We are also continually reviewing the vast array of other feedback and suggestions we receive. Rest assured, these are important to us and will be addressed, but at this moment, our first priority remains the game's economics and progression.
We are truly sorry for the disappointment and frustration that we have caused. We commit to you that we are doing everything we can to improve the game, and regain your trust.
Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time. We value your continued support and your dedication to the game we all love.

Comments will be premoderatedwhat happens when you pander to free to new younger player base who wants gets a kick out of toilet rolls, gnomes and neon lights on their tanks...Circus plane skins etc... These vehicles did not go into combat with this mess. .But its these free loading player that are complaining they cant afford the game. The basis community are military historians with daily jobs. We pay, we helped build the game for all the free loaders to enjoy. Only to see Gajin left wondering why it all went bad.
Personally, I have been waiting for two years for a response regarding when squadrons will have their representative on the Gaijin forum. This simple question, which we keep repeating, has not been answered by anyone. Maybe it would be enough for us to hear that nobody will address it, but the silence is even worse. Now the community has clearly shown you that enough is enough. I appreciate everyone who spoke up and joined in to say no, this is too much.
Talk the talk, but from now on I hope there will be in-depth reviews, guides, and dissections of every economy change and balance with free to play no premium time/premium vehicle accounts. We await the walk.
Good to see this post. I'm a bit sceptical. But i really hope you fix this. So its even fair for those that for one reason or another can't/don't want to use premium account to get some progress in the game. And be able to afford new unlocked vehicles. And also be able to afford the repair bill. But its a step i the right direction. At least for now.
I'm still sceptical, but please PLEASE prove me wrong. All we want is to have fun again with this game we love.
Thanks for the apology , this seems far more sincere than the gas lighting that came before it and i truly hope this is what makes war thunder what it was suppose to be , like the games amazing lets be honest , its unique and despite how frustrating it can be i keep playing it . Please follow through and make this an opportunity to make war thunder insane . If you do you can guarantee my steam reviews getting revised .
Idk, kinda sad that this was even necessary in the first place. So this feels more like a damage repair move, instead of a sincere apologies. Sure, it's good to know that finally something will (probably) be done, but the reason behind it doesn't feel right. But no matter what happens on the 14th of June, the trust is still gone. For now :/
I really hope this is sincere. It would be really good if the top tier AIR SIM was playable after the economy change. Because i dont play the game now, cuz you go bankrupt there
And what will happen if the community think the upcoming changes aren't adequate enough? Will you guys continue to ignore us like you alway did? Or will some improve forms of communication be employ in the future?
The biggest step in the right direction you can make is have one of your decision making devs actually play the game on a new account and see the grind for themselves at ALL tiers. I feel like the econ changes were made by someone who does not even play the game.
