By the end of April of 1945, Italy-based forces of the Wehrmacht and Republic of Salo had no supplies or manpower to oppose the Allies, and so on the 29th they capitulated at Caserta. However, it was the 25th of April that became Liberation Day — on this date the National Liberation Committee of Upper Italy called for all guerrillas to rise against the occupying forces and force their garrisons to surrender.
25th of April became a holiday already a year later, in 1946, and ever since, it’s celebrated by marches, parades, and placing laurels upon the grave of the Unknown Soldier.
From April 25th (10:00 GMT) until April 28th (10:00 GMT), play 3 battles using Italian vehicles (rank III or higher, with an activity of not less than 70%) to receive the “W L'Italia libera” decal.
Complete the task in random battles, except for Enduring Confrontation missions and [Assault] mode. Track your progress in the hangar by clicking Nickname → Achievements → Holidays → Italy Liberation Day.
You can find the decal in the “Holidays” tab in the Customisation menu.

Comments will be premoderatedNo P40 leoncello ? I really wanted to buy it. ( Also please give us back the Monarchist Flag for Italy on the menu it looks better and it's not controversial because it has nothing to do with a certain regime or ideology )
it's a tech tree vehicle now
The P40 isn't already in the game? i really want the P43 in the game
Man that wallpaper could very well be a recruitment ad for the Italian Air Force
Want this as a loading screen!
Happy Liberation Day Italy!
The pic is of a rare beauty ♥
Some black text, exactly the kind of exciting detail I was hoping for!!
It's not "some black text". It's re-creation of original text from historical photography.
