First work-in-progress images of the new locations from the upcoming War Thunder update!
“Pyrenees”
The new location for air battles “Pyrenees” invites you to the mountainous area of the Principality of Andorra. Small villages with farm fields are spread upon valleys, ancient castles and medieval abbeys compete for the most picturesque view of the surroundings, and the clear water of the mountain lakes sparkle bright in the green hued highlands. Visit the "Pyrenees" in your combat aircraft, it's so beautiful here! In arcade battles, the mission [Ground Strike] “Mountain Valleys” is available for this location.
Winter “Seversk-13”
The winter version of one of the most mysterious locations in War Thunder. Russian winter has come to the abandoned town, but the air raid warning is still heard, disturbing news about the missing people can still be heard on the police wave and military convoys still block the town.
Snowy “Ardennes”
Another winter version of a location beloved by the players, “Ardennes”. Fields covered with snow, white caps appeared on the straw stacks and roofs of the unfortunate town that turned out to be on the path of a desperate German counteroffensive.
“Maginot Line” in winter
The fields of the Maginot Line also welcome winter. The green grassy hills, concrete pillboxes and idyllic hamlets of northeast France are now covered with early fluffy snow. Paint your tanks white, and be ready to battle!

Comments will be premoderatedNice, three "new" maps with same green trees and trash bushes obstructing vision, but with white textures. Yet, there's still only one map to be banned.
You really should check the pictures before you post a comment.
Please have the ban function ban both winter and non-winter versions.
Is there an option i can use to ban comments like this?
You do understand that when it's winter, the leaves are not on the trees, right?
You do understand that not all plants lose their leaves in the winter, right?
I see someone failed Earth Science class. There are a great many trees that do not change color when the seasons change. Most conifers, needle-leaf, and broadleaf trees retain their foliage and green color all throughout the year.
It isnt new if you just change the colour to white.
They still make minor changes to optimize the map in different ways, if you have played winter poland you'll notice that the 2 major sniping positions on both sides of the map were changed. They're not just adding snow to the maps and calling it a day.
Gaijin just stopped caring about updating old maps and instead just decided to give everything a snow texture and call it a day
Sure it may be low effort, but I like snow maps, its better than nothing
Actually they did update the old maps. Except they didn't announce those changes, and these changes exclusively trimmed those maps, or obstructed them with the new obstacles, forcing the close quarter combat or camping even more. They also introduced the red zones outside the spawns, obstructing the gameplay even more, and making it more similar to the arcade mode due to the forced visibility. In my opinion exclusively bad changes.
please folder the winter versions with the non winter versions so that our single ban and 4 dislikes don't go to waste
I welcome the winter maps but its strange to still have leaves on the bushes and trees...
No. It's not. Quite common, particularly early in winter. They shouldn't be green, though.
I'd just like to throw this out there, but every single time you guys add these new separate "winter" maps, it makes the map ban and dislike feature even more and more worthless. What's the point in letting me ban poland, if you're just going to force me to play winter poland...
Can we have also the oposite? Like "summer Stalingrad"???
Summer Volokolamsk when? UnFrozen pass?
