War Thunder will soon feature customizable aircraft weapon setups, including asymmetrical loadouts. Lock’n’load what you REALLY need in battle!

In the subsequent minor updates after the “Wind of Change” major update release, we’re planning to introduce customizable weapon loadouts for War Thunder aircraft within the allowable weight and types of weapons for the given vehicle. It will be players that decide what and how many weapons they need for a combat mission. This is how the weapon setup customization will look:

Weapon loadout customization will first be available for certain aircraft that are added in the “Wind of Change” update. In future updates, we will introduce this option for other top-tier planes and helicopters.

You will be able to have up to 20 customizable weapon presets along with the standard ones. You also will be able to edit, remove, copy, and switch places with any custom setup at any time.

Every aircraft with the custom loadout feature will have any weapon freely available to add to the setup, all suspended weapons will be available for free, the actual cost of weapons spent in battles in Silver Lions will be included in the repair cost. Here is the list of aircraft that will have customizable loadouts in the “Wind of Change” update:

• Mirage F1C
• Su-22UM3K
• MiG-23MLA
• F-104S.ASA
• J-8B
• A-10A Thunderbolt II (Early)
• A-10A Thunderbolt II (Late)
