In this digest we would like to tell you about our continuing work on improvements and fixes in the game. You can find information about all updates that have been released in War Thunder on the website special section.
Asterisk for your convenience
You may have noticed that War Thunder now has regular events with simple tasks and nice prizes that can be completed in specific vehicles. We wanted to make it easier for you to find the vehicles involved in these events.
Now vehicles that can be used in these events will be marked in the research trees with a special tag with an image of a star. You will also now be aware of the available task with the “Research” icon on the appropriate nation and type of vehicle with the aforementioned star on the vehicles themselves that are suitable for its completion.
Due to its specifications, this improvement will become available within 24 hours after this news has been released.
Fixed the operation of the ballistic marker
Don’t worry, in normal situations your “armour penetration cross” operated and is operating correctly. The problem was affecting vehicles with a laser rangefinder that when trying to fire at air targets, encountered an effect that caused the marker to remain on the ground and calculate the point of impact far beyond its possible range. You also couldn’t even tell if the cannon was already pointing in the direction you wanted it to or if it was still moving.
We changed the logic for the ballistic marker so now if you decide to shoot “birds” it will be replaced by a simple cannon direction marker.
When switching to anti-tank guided missiles your trusty helper will also be hidden so that nothing interferes with aiming.
Fixed the firing sound in an air event
We are talking about ground AB, where an active player can temporarily leave their armoured vehicle and hurt their enemies from the air in every way. But if at the time of the switching from ground vehicle into an aircraft you were firing, for example from a machine gun then the sound of endless machine gun shooting was transferred with you and created a unique atmosphere for the whole flight.
We have fixed that cacophony and now when you fly the aircraft, you will only hear the sounds of actual shots.
More improvements
For this digest we have prepared a large set of useful fixes and game improvements. Be sure to read the full list which we have prepared in the separate changelog - there are many interesting things.
Once again, many thanks for all your bug reports that you submitted by using our special service.

Could you give us the option to turn off the star asterix tags, if we dont want to see them as currently they have higher priority then both in game discounts and squadron exp allocation. i couldent care less about these events due to the meh rewards, so could i have the option for this not to clog my feed please.
Tags shoudn't have priorities any way, just added beside the existing if there are several that's applicable.
still haven't removed the Neshers radar(it didn't have one) and replaced with a CCIP it had and not given the Kafir C.7 it's mavericks
yea. funny thing is, the mirage 5F actually lacked CCIP and had the cyrano ibis radar in real life, while in game its the opposite. the mirage 5f ingame is modeled like how the nesher should be and the nesher is modeled like how the mirage 5F should be.
ofekk213, Been looking around the internet for a little bit and can't find anything about the 5F having a radar. Only the foreign upgraded Mirage 5's have radars as far as I can tell.
The Merkava Mark 2D Composite Screens on the Turret have been removed from the Xray. This is good as it was confusing people as they either thought its composites had 0 effect or that the Tank was going to get NERA Composites there like the Mark 3D has.
That's because it DOES have composite armor like the 3D and the devs are just too lazy to model it properly so they just act like it isn't there
Good job,. the ballistic marker bug was quite annoying :D
Not fixing the neutral turn of leclerc you guys broken months ago in a 'iots fixed' episode? Please for the love of god show some competence for once !
Which one of the Leclerks has a problem?
Very much not a fan of the "special tag with an image of a star". Can you please give an option to to turn it off?
wher spall fix?
Heres a short list of things to fix... Hull aiming (you have "fixed" thiis a couple of times but its still really bad) Ghost shells (This has been a problem since release so I doubt that you will fiix it) Some trees have higher hitboxes than they should
Hullaiming is very much playable what do you even mean!???
Do the developers even know about the "Aim Flicker" bug? That is over 7 months already.
The Israel Vautour IIN and the Premium French one dont show the internal bomb when u open the bomb bay, probably a visual glitch. I see it only glitch when using 10x750 lbs or 10x360kg, other bomb load seems fine or i just too lazy to test them all lol. Fellows gamers try to test the french one with 10x750 and reply here if u see the same glitch
