In the early years of aviation, engineers were all about building fixed-wing aircraft with two main wings stacked one above the other. Aircraft of this configuration were called… biplanes. Today this configuration definitely looks dated, but then it was perfect for working around the technical limitations of that era. As a general rule, biplanes had excellent maneuverability and handled really well. On the other hand, they weren’t nearly as fast as monoplanes that eventually put biplanes out of business.
Today, though, it’s all about biplanes. We’re going to talk about the best aircraft of this type in War Thunder. It’s important to note that most biplanes are immediately available to all pilots — even complete beginners. They’re ready to surprise you with their excellent performance, right from the get-go.

Please add more biplanes.
Pls add the Fiat CR.42 DB(Daimler-Benz DB 601A engine).
About the C.R. 32bis... pls lower its BR! Not many players has it, and basically anything, even most bombers can simply outrun it at 1.7 (not to mention at 2.7)! I don't care the statistics, and that is has strong armament, it doesn't matter if most enemies can simply choose not ti fight with it! +SKINS, SKINS, SKINS!
I'm surprised you didn't mention the Tandem MAI.
The Tandem MAI isn't a biplane, just low tier, low BR...
For planes as they perform in WT, sure. For historically significant biplanes, I'd replace the gladiator with the Swordfish.
for biplanes lovers like me there would be many prototypes to be included Ca 165, cancar gregor FDB, mny russian biplanes Fairey Phantome etc
thanx to the new air spawn at ~15km of battlefield, can't spawn a biplane on high tier because it takes hours to arrive, instead of 2 air spawn just move the only one far far faaaaar away great !
