Noticed a visual discrepancy with the afterburner. It has smoke. Due to it's massive heat, afterburners do not smoke. Smoke is generated by the imperfect burning of fuel and some of the unburned fuel remaining. It is a common tactic to make yourself less observable to "Go Burners" which ignites all the remaining fuel. This is separate from contrails which is water vapor freezing and crystallizing in cold, high-altitude air. Burners aren't used heavily because of the massive fuel burn.
