Attack on Pearl Harbor
80 years ago, on Sunday morning on the 7th of December 1941, Japanese aircraft struck the US Navy’s Pacific fleet at Pearl Harbor. Thus began WWII for the United States.
From 11:00 GMT on the 7th of December until 11:30 GMT on the 10th of December
Rewards
Completing the “Attack on Pearl Harbor” task will bring you a battle trophy with one of the following rewards:
- 20-50% RP booster for 3-10 battles
- 20-50% SL booster for 3-10 battles
- 3-5 universal backup vehicles
- 1 day premium account
Task
- Destroy 40/20/20 (AB/RB/SB) enemy whilst controlling specific vehicles in random battles
The task can be completed only in vehicles from the list:
- Japan: D3A1, A6M2, B5N2
- USA: P-36A, Rasmussen’s P-36A, P-36G, SBD-3, USS Aylwin, USS Raleigh, USS Detroit, USS Brooklin, USS Helena, PT-20

I mean it's ok I guess? Did you guys run out of event ideas or something? This isn't even worth the time to get the RNG reward.
If for you it aint worth it, then don't play. I actually appreciate the time and effort they put into these mini-events, even tho the time and effort put is minimal. It's still nice to see.

Suggestion for next time, could you add a random camo, say tier 1-3, as one of the trophy drops?
This right here, as long as it was a unique camo, would incentivize me to change whatever tree I'm working on at the time and grind these events out. At least it's something tangible and lasting. To get a booster or backup just feels like basically I'm being told what nation and what vehicles to play for the next 1-2 days for nothing. They will add them when they're ready, instead your incessant whining only elongates that waiting time, it also shows how little you care as you've brushed aside Pearl Harbour remembrance to cry about your wants and it's sadly not just you that also cry wolf.
When I saw the title I had to think of the nice time when you got on the pacific maps. I liked the pacific maps in random battles. It's a shame that you can't really come up with it anymore.
Wake. Peleliu, Port Moresby, Ohau. There is a ship map based on NZ. Tank map the Jungle is probably the Pacific too. Guam too I think.

Gajin, it's the 80's anniversary! Couldn't someone have come up with a more realistic event? For example, with a map of Pear Harbor and the opportunity to play for either the Japanese or the US? It's really not real or fun to fly an A6M somewhere near Bastogne, etc ... Such a wasted chance ...

buddah_stick, I haven't seen this map in RB for about 5-6 years. I'm really tired of flying Japanese planes over Bastogne, Berlin, etc ... That's why I stopped playing with them ...
Uh gaijin you forgot the EVENT part of this event, i want to play ON the pearl harbour map and attack the ships there just like it happened IRL. Also, bring back the pacific maps for air rb, i miss torpedo bombing
I'm not sure what y'all are going on about. When I play US, JPN, and even GB, I get these maps. Occasionally a T-bolt or P-51 slips in, but try playing Naval aircraft of US or JPN and you will see some naval maps.

Will we ever get historical events like the invasion of normandy and Battle of Britain again? I know the ground battles were fairly unbalanced, and the air battles weren't much better, but I can confidently say the Simulator modes for the events made it easier to fight those uphill battles. Maybe I am in the upper end of Simulator pilots, so I could be biased there, but those were some of the most fun modes in this game. I hope ya'll bring them back in some capacity.

I don’t really understand how we just had an event for the Battle of Stalingrad, where you could receive a 3D decoration and a decal, yet for Pearl Harbor there are no unique rewards? Couldn’t we have gotten the anchor of the USS Arizona or maybe a decal commemorating the 80th anniversary?
