We are happy to inform you that in one of the future War Thunder updates a new playable nation will appear - Israel! Despite its youth, the Israeli armed forces are rightfully considered one of the most combat-ready armies in the world, and Israel's military forces are an interesting alloy of foreign vehicles with advanced domestic machines.
In the upcoming War Thunder update "Ground Breaking", two premium aircraft from the early access packs will be added to the Israeli aviation lineup. The owners of the packs will be the first to get access to the closed beta testing of the aviation tech tree of the new playable nation, that will begin in the next major update after the upcoming “Ground Breaking” update. Prior to Israeli aviation CBT, early access pack owners will be able to participate in aircraft random battles and prepare their crews!
Spitfire LF Mk IXe by Ezer Weizman
One of the most successful modifications of the legendary Spitfire in the livery of the personal aircraft of Ezer Weizman, a RAF veteran pilot, who later became the commander of the Israeli Air Force, and subsequently became the president of the nation!
In addition to the perfect maneuverability and excellent speed at low and medium altitudes, this aircraft carries 8 cm Flz.-Rakete Oerlikon rockets, unique to the game, with a shaped-charged warhead and an armor penetration value up to 300mm.
A-4E Skyhawk (Late)
A late Israeli modification of one of the best strike aircraft in the game! The aircraft features a new armament of 2х30mm DEFA guns, a parachute, and an elongated tail. The premium Skyhawk carries a large payload of various suspended weapons - bombs up to 2,000 pounds, Zuni and Mighty Mouse rockets, gun pods, and the AGM-62 Walleye guided bombs
A wonderful strike aircraft and the best choice to accelerate the research of high-ranking Israeli aviation!

Unlike all other game nations, Israeli tech tree won't start from Rank 1. We will share more details in future.
This is all around a terrible idea. Won't start at rank I. Make low tiers of other nations even less playable than you already have (battle pass requirements). Add a overwhelmingly copy paste tree. Because China is so popular. Dedicate assets to creating a whole tree. Take away resources that could fill minor trees with vehicles. Does nothing to help current issues with the game. They have no navy, so another kick in the junk to naval players. It also fails to capitalize on the minor tree concept used with South Africa that everyone seemed to like. What in the heck are you guys thinking?????
W-wait.. how is this going to work? Are there enough props to fill out tier 1 - 5? I'm excited for the jets though!
no, there's not. So you're going to have to grind through planes you may already own in other tech trees, such as spitfires and hurricanes.
hahaha, I didn't expect you to add Israel but I am happy non the less.
shouldnt be
Will Italy and France get a competitive top tier plane ever?
Well France sort of has one, the mirage is pretty decent. I just wish they added a non F-104 to Italy, because while they are fast, they are not very competitive. However, Im still exited for the new tree! Regardless of amount of copy+paste they decide to add to the tree, and I feel like modifications of tanks make a huge difference, as I love the Centauro R over the default Centauro, so if they add the right ones, the tree could be really fun if they do it right, and there's only one way to see
Mmm more vehicles, more fun to play with friends
Iran is more worthy of a tech tree since they make more weapons
Not a fan of Iran ( Hey that rhymes ) but I can see a Iranian sub tree for sure
wow... antoher one? why you cant just fill and fix the other tech tree? like the main one, we already have china as copy paste...
oy vey
Yay, yet another literally useless copy-paste tech tree that will suck out development time from actually important things. Israel could have been a sub-tree in the US main tree since almost all of their tech is modified US equipment but no, you had to make them into a China 2.0, now with even less original planes and vehicles.
Israeli used a bunch of modified French, British, American and German vehicles, I don't think it makes sense to keep adding them as premiums or having them as a sub tree of America.
I will bet on Gaijin side in this case, you guys always talking about WW2 stuff bla bla, so just stay and play mid tier, play the nation you love and shut up, let the other play them. Just playing what you want, and the game will be fun, dont mind the other!
The reason people are mad is because it's a waste. It could have been used to fill many gaps in other nations where it would be greatly appreciated, such as with britain getting south africa, giving them light tanks which they were missing. Furthermore, it's a waste of time to make a seperate tech tree for israel, as we all know it'll be filled with other nations tanks. This time could have been used for more productive means to the game.
MatthewDarkPR, its easier to copy paste existing vehicles than it is to go out, find data (images, research documents etc.) on new and unique vehicles. if people are made then they need to open there eyes and realise gaijin still has to operate as a business and if that means dropping copy paste vehicles over unique ones then so be it.
