In this digest we would like to tell you about our continuing work on improvements and fixes in the game. You can find information about all updates that have been released in War Thunder on the website special section.
Invisible tank wrecks
This problem occured when a destroyed enemy escaped a battle back to the hangar. Their last vehicle wasn’t displayed on the client of other players, but remained on the server. Shells did not penetrate through the invisible tank wreck and it looked as if they just disappeared and players might suddenly collide with the invisible object.
The issue has been fixed. All vehicles on the battlefield are now saved correctly.
Hellfire with X-Ray vision
This bug was reported by helicopter pilots who noticed that after laser capture, the ground target lockon wasn’t reset even after solid obstacles like mountains or lowland locations were encountered. Helicopter pilots were literally able to fire blindy from a safe position which of course was a bug in the laser operation.
We want to thank all the players who told us about this problem and we are fixing it in this update.
Dark night vision device
This problem manifested itself only on the ultra-low graphic settings as a darkening of the image after turning on and then exiting the NVD or thermal image mode.
We have tweaked the settings and got rid of this unpleasant effect.
More improvements
For this digest we have prepared a large set of useful fixes and game improvements. Be sure to read the full list which we have prepared in the separate changelog - there are many interesting things.
Once again, many thanks for all your bug reports that you submitted in our bug report section on the War Thunder forums.

"This problem manifested itself only on the ultra-low graphic settings as a darkening of the image after turning on and then exiting the NVD or thermal image mode." Better fix would have been to simply remove the ulq.
Nope. Especially in times when average GPU cost equivalent of a small flat :/ Not everyone can afford good hardware.
not cool dude, every dollar that goes to graphics cards is a dollar not given to Gaijin, are you trying to mess with their revenue stream? How are they going to continue fixing their broken product if people spend on replacing 1980s hardware instead?
Will we see the T-80BVM's UBH armor package at some point?
"Invisible tank wrecks." That bug costed me dozens of games.
yes we will, some time this year maybe afaik
its fixed they said...from now on its gonna be alright they said....just double click on the ominous icon on the middle of the screen...for new dose of trauma
They fix 5 stuffs and break 6 more. They game is really messed up after the RED SKIES update. Pathetic! I nearly gave up playing WT ... again!
Great job on fixing the ULQ settings for the most popular way to play Ground Forces RB. The FPS on my 3080 in ULQ is outstanding!
i have a bug,it shows dead enemy vehicles,as non moving, alive, teammates. Can anyone help, its been some days now.
Thx for Fixing that the invisible Wracks are now visible
Just played a match ... weird black flickering occurring now randomly. Also getting 70fps @ high settings instead of 80~90 like before
Raiden_Black, Same man, I got a giant frame loss after this bs. Actually my fps is getting lower and lower after each update.
The 12.7mm machine gun of T-80BVM is broken, I hope you will check and fix it. And can you make IR spot light brighter? IR spot light in game look like lack of battery @.@
I'm experiencing random grapical glitch since this update. I've played yesterday and everything was fine. I'm on 2080S
Restart game please, it should be fixed with latest update.
Nice! Good stuff, Gaijin! Keep these bug fixes coming!
Can u devs also fix the starshells/flares not giving light on ULQ setting? (its possible that its because lighting on ULQ setting is disabled)
