In this digest we would like to tell you about our continuing work on improvements and fixes in the game. You can find information about all updates that have been released in War Thunder on the website special section.
Overpressure damage from external ammunition
An important fix for specific vehicles. Crews of the U-SH 405, the AMX-13 (SS.11) and the AMX-13 (HOT) won’t be affected by overpressure damage after enemy hits to the external rocket and missile launchers.
Survivability increased!
Frag to the tanker, not the pilot
A cosmetic issue might appear in specific situations in the kill camera. When a tanker destroys an enemy ground vehicle simultaneously with a pilot dropping a bomb exactly on the same enemy, a frag may appear to be counted for the pilot!
Actually, a tanker always got his awards, but the situation looked odd. Well, it’s fixed now!
A bit more improvement of the shell camera
In the last digest we talked about the major improvement to the shell tracking camera in naval battles. It started returning faster, started interacting better with automatic cannons and even widened its viewing angle.
This time it will immediately return to the player if the shell missed the target. After all, there is no point in watching how a shell interacts with water, definitely not hitting anything.
Correct shell cards
This fix also relates to the last release of the digest where we introduced the displaying of a shell card in the modification window even if it hasn’t been unlocked yet.
Unfortunately due to a small bug the characteristics might have been displayed incorrectly but we have fixed this. Now you can study them.
More improvements
For this digest we have prepared a large set of useful fixes and game improvements. Be sure to read the full list which we have prepared in the separate changelog - there are many interesting things.
Once again, many thanks for all your bug reports that you submitted in our bug report section on the War Thunder forums.

anxiously starting "fixed" game...nothing scarier than gaijin fixes and updates
What are you talking about?
DronE19, you know exactly what im talking about :-D....
So, armor is still bugged and overperforming, especially for Russian MBTs. When are those getting fixed? I mean you already acknowledged that there is an issue and that devs are working on it. Strange that this is not prioritized, since it mostly affects Russian MBTs positively...
Oh boi, Russian Bias theory. My fav!
As expected, US/Germany main
Nothing about popular bug in naval with mine, mine everywhere alert and disappearing rounds model and splashes? Or this is just another "surprise mechanics"?
Yeah, that's a really bad new bug. The game starts shouting "mine from behind!" at seemingly random times and at the same time you can no longer see any fall of shot (although the rounds still do damage). The issue persists past respawn. AB and RB, coastal and bluewater.
Bruce_R1, Aye. And the tracers are gone too. Not good in a PT-Boat. It doesn't happen everytime , but it happens.
Playing war thunder on xbox one is practically impossible. Lots of FPS drops please fix this!
Has anyone reported that the F-5E's left Aileron does not move when performing a roll?
how about fixing the "fun" factor?
it will always be almost fun. thats just how it is;) ive come to accept it... welcome to the masochist club
I miss the dev log now
cool and all but why do I need to login to access anything on warthunder.com???
I always look forward to seeing the next 'it's fixed' even though at times I feel there should be an it's 'broken section', which is a category the R-23 easily falls under. Multiple bug reports with sources have been made since the patch dropped and none of the many things that are wrong with the missile have been addressed so far. Otherwise nice to see things steadily improve, I hope the R-23 will also become one of those many things.
Ok Cool, so when are they fixing maps that lets you spawn camp/get spawn camped and opressed out of enjoying the game in 3 minutes or less?
