Special offer for a special day! The greatest premium strike aircraft in the game, the American F-5C Skoshi Tiger with the bonus “Aggressors” camouflage, is now open for pre-orders in our digital store!
- Fighter F-5C (Rank VI USA) - available after the next major update;
- 2000 Golden Eagles;
- Premium account for 15 days;
- Pre-order bonus: unique "10th Fighter Commando Squadron emblem" decal;
- Pre-order bonus: unique "Aggressor" title;
- Pre-order bonus: unique camouflage of the US Navy "Aggressors" air regiment.
About the aircraft: The F-5C Skoshi Tiger is an American premium supersonic fighter-bomber that will become the best premium attack aircraft in War Thunder when it appears in the game. An excellent top speed of over Mach 1.5, seven weapon attachment points and a huge payload mass in dozens of combinations make the aircraft an extremely flexible and effective tool for solving any task, be it hunting for aircraft, bombing enemy bases or destroying ground vehicles. Playing in the F-5C brings increased income in Silver Lions and significantly speeds up the research of any aircraft in the US lineup.
The F-5C will appear in the game with the release of the next major update for War Thunder!
About the camo: F-5 jet fighter, painted black with red stars, impersonated the ominous MiG-28, fictional antagonist of the “Top Gun” movie. Its black camo with red stars and identification marks embodied the “Red Menace” - cruel and inevitable force from propaganda movies. In the US air forces, there are several actual “Aggressors” squads - US jet-fighters imitating Soviet/Russian aircraft. You have a unique chance to get a special pre-order bonus - a black “Aggressors” camo for your Premium F-5C jet fighter!

gaijin, when you announce the F-14, please please PLEASE! licence danger zone for the trailer music
What about the 'Top Gun' anthem from Harold Faltemeyer? Surely, you wouldn't forget about him.
faaar too early for F-14
I can hear that famous line right now...after that fictitious MiG-28 knocks some poor, unfortunate jet-jock down: "The Defense Dept. regrets to inform you...your sons are dead, because they were stupid!!!" And if...& this is a really big 'IF'...the F-14 Tomcat shows up in this new major update, the chat lines everywhere will explode. Prepare to tighten up your belts!!!
wont be as sexy as my F14 in DCS though * touches clickable cockpit *
Rank VI premiums and Rank VII jets basically being confirmed is nice and all, but, Gaijin where's my improved UI and HUDs?
I think they're constantly working on improving HUD and UI. they'll release them when they'll be ready
Hope they are gonna add Panavia Tornado for Italy
Take my money
O N N O Not the Mig 28
Rank 7 jets? Really? What br will they be? How bad will compression be now? Is this some out of season april fools joke? Please say yes.
AIM-9E HAHAHAH XD XD, premiun be like, thanks gaijin, now i can play with my migs in peace killing LV10´s
i'm going to ask something off topic(not quite of topic actually) when u guys going to implement the missile rails? missile lunching is a bit awkward(it almost feels like the missile is teleporting when missile lunching)
Missile launch rails have nothing to do with how the missile fires. They just allow you to have a missile at pylons you couldn't before.
traeng, i'm talking about the lunch animation. AIM-9 on the F5(also the T2) are mounted on wing tip and lunching one not gona look like it lunched from a center line. i'm not talking about missile performance or what they allow, i'm talking about when a AIM-9 lunched, i could see the AIM-9 come of the rail instead of way it is now which look like it just respawn the missile (also it apparently lunched from a hidden rail at middle of the plane)
Yay, that thing from that one movie. :)
