Special: French Heavies
France was responsible for A LOT of unconventional tank designs created in the first half of the XXth century. Tanks with oscillating turrets, 70 ton medium tanks, heavies with very thin armour. In short, many bold choices, and the French engineers couldn’t always solve all the problems that arose during development. The saddest tale among them all was the tale of the French heavy tanks.

A good summary. However, you forgot about the tank that started the entire French heavy tank family. So heavy it was, that it's still in dimension the biggest tank ever created : The FCM 2C. A tank that would be wonderful in War Thunder, IMO.
Could probably work as a premium like the T-35 or the Independent, if nothing else.
I would absolutely love to play an FCM 2C at low tier, although it might be a tad too slow. The A1E1 is (at least to me) deceptively quick for its size.
Nice video... but to add to this ambiant sadness, why turret MGs on M4A4, SA-50, ARL-44, AMX M4, Lorraine, AMX-50, Surbaissé, AMX-13, AMX-13-90 are missing despite numerous documents and photos prove they got one ?
Yeah, would be nice to have the pintol machine guns. If all the german tanks can get them, I don't see why these can't.
how about gajjin finally lower the br level of the Surblindé? the heavy tank the devs are keeping in such a high rarity.
3:10 Panzers, not Panthers. It was at least 1.5 years before first of the Cats
french tanks aka most ugly desinged things in tank history honestly
hi
Uhm... Why is there a tank destroyer on the thumbnail?
Good history of French tank development - nice way of explaining why they French took the approaches they did.
very cool warthunder, but can we get an AXM-10p? Or an SNCASO SO.4000?
