We present to you the Italian research tree for combat helicopters. Today we will tell you about the first three of them.
AB 205 A-1
This helicopter is a licensed copy of the American UH-1H "Huey", modified for the needs of the Italian army. The AB 205 A-1 is an entry-level multi-role helicopter armed with miniguns and LS FFAR rockets.
A.109 EOA-2
In the early 70’s, the Italian aircraft manufacturer Agusta began testing a new multi-purpose helicopter, the A.109, which was originally created for the civilian market, but immediately drew the attention of the military authorities. A.109 EOA-2 is a reconnaissance version, designed to destroy various targets including enemy armored vehicles. In addition to machine-gun pods and rockets, the helicopter can be equipped with four TOW anti-tank missile launchers.
A.129CBT Mangusta
The modern A.129 attack helicopter is successfully used by the Italian armed forces, as well as by a number of foreign operators. The helicopter has excellent flight characteristics, outstanding speed and superb maneuverability. The CBT modification was created from combat experience in modern armed conflicts. The Mangusta is armed with a 20mm autocannon and carries a good arsenal of unguided and guided weapons, including Stinger air-to-air missiles and Hellfire II ATGMs.

Awesome!
Now give us a tank only mode so we don't have to get obliterated by OP helis and aircraft, as well as a real helicopter mode where you can level up helicopters... High tier helis just ruin heli EC... Unbalanced as everything else with compressed BR's...
And yeah... Seriously reduce RP costs and increase RP gain throughout the game cause just no... grinding 400k is just not fun whatsoever when you gain like 1k/10 minutes... Helis, Tanks, Ships need to spend weeks to unlock the next vehicles at top tier for some stupid reason, which just isn't fun and just makes less people play top tier at all. Also makes you stuck playing single nations instead of spreading out, takes too much time to level up through a a new one if you want something else...
Did someone say CBT...
what about fixing the heli problem that exists and making multiple nation heli tech trees more fun....nope adding another one to feed the russian bois
sooooo, now we must get the rooivalk or the red falcon which is the south african version of the mangusta... with 10km range anti tank guided missiles... (Mokopa ZT-6 missiles) therefore... i am stating something similar to the ka 50 but as a south african remodel of the mangusta.
Ummmm, no.. Nope.. This is a hard pass for me, how do you put a freaking transport helicopter against them.. well you know what type of helis in EC. And you expect anyone to suffer with that? Only folks that used the International prem heli will be able to unlock the rest of the helis.
I can honestly say who cares, helicopters are the bane of top tier, but for those that care, I bite my them at thee.
It's as if the devs didn't think at all about what the players are going to have to face with this starter heli and the Japanese one. Everytime they put out a survey I ask for the devs to think about the the vehicles they're planning on adding and how they're supposed to fight. I can see that I've wasted my time apparently.
ah yes another one of those things that we will have to put our life on to get, and also whats up with you guys in type 10 the chinese TT only has a 9.7 96A that not even that good and has a crappy 7.5 reload and a 99 in the next update and its only ONE when japan has 2 10.3 type 90 so stop complaining cause the there other tech trees that are suffering more
I'm usually positive about War Thunder, but even I can see that the way helicopters are designed is to force people into buying the premium helicopters. Every tree starts with useless utility choppers (except for the AH-1G, which then has to grind past a few trash helicopters to get to the good and really capable stuff. or you can just pay $50 to get a premium helicopter that is the 2nd best in that tree anyway. (Ka-50, Peten, etc) It's so disappointing.
