German SPAAs
Attention! Outdated news format. Content may not display correctly.
In offence and in defence, in sun-scorched deserts and in thickly wooded forests, tanks lead the fight almost everywhere… but, in most cases, they are almost defenceless when attacked from the air. What shields them from the wrath of the skies is a special type of ground vehicles — self-propelled anti-aircraft vehicles, armed with quick-firing autocannons and missiles. This video is about them — or, more specifically, about SPAA vehicles found in the German tech tree; from the earliest models to the modern missile systems.

umbraprime, also puma when
Hope we will get some SPAA versions of the Sd.Kfz.251, would make up for some good diversity and a few permiums
You mean to tell me there's more than ONE AA I'm supposed to use in the German lineup?!
Can we have the BTR-152 raised to tier 3, so Russians get a decent AA vehicle at tier 3, for the events?
or they could add the latter variant with 4x 14,5mm as the teir 3 version
My favorite spaa are Coelian and Kugel
I haven't liked the Kugelblitz ever since they've split up its ammo into magazines. Before that it was amazing, but now I think it's worse than the Ostwind 2.
I would see SdKfz 251/21 with 3x MG 151 (15, or 20 mm) and of course, SdKfz 7/1 - they are old, but good halftracks ;)
One of the most iconic German WW2 military vehicles, definitely should've been in game long ago, those things were multi-role vehicles.
I'd like to see America and Britain receive some work on their anti-air trees. A single bofors gun from 4.7 to 7.3 just isnt functional, and the American Bofors carriers are underperforming by a far. The allied teams from 4.0 to 7.3 just dont have functional air defense. Adding Skink and Sperry Vigilante could really go a long way to helping the allied teams defend themselves from the frankly ridiculous German CAS
I don't have a favorite save for later West German SPAA. Now, would you please fix the bofors on our US SPAA's, our fire rate is nerfed, and they don't fire in sequence as they should, reducing fire density and making them far less effective than they were.
My friend, what about the large number of Chinese cars promised to us?Don't we spend enough money to buy a Chinese technology tree?We really need it. Thank you very much
i laughed at the newest chinese AA, like WTH!. that thing is post WWII and featured attacking helicopters in the game but suddenly, the development team was told it's gonna be at an extremly low BR that it won't be meeting helis. like yooo, if china banned all form of videosgames in mainland we would'nt have chinese tree in the first place.
they forgot to mention coelian or their repair costs https://forum.warthunder.com/index.php?/topic/495732-extremely-high-repair-costs-of-german-wwii-spaag-in-arcade-battles/
So many of the tank repair costs are absolutely absurd.... 20-30k for a single vehicle when you're expected to spawn at least 3 times, with the game only giving 20-30k reward for a premium win... Unless you have an absolutely awesome game... It's just a loss to play...
