Tasks
To get one Star ⭐ you need to perform any 3 tasks from 5 in random battles (in vehicles of rank III or higher and from rank II and higher for fleet). Tasks will not change and will be reset every 2 days at 11:00 GMT.
Pilot Star⭐ — for controlling aircraft
Destroy 40 enemies in AB (20 in RB, 14 in SB).
Win 10 battles (with an activity of 60% or higher).
Drop 10 tons of Bomb TNT on enemy bases in total.
Destroy 11 enemies in one battle (4 in RB, 2 in SB).
Help allies 10 times to destroy enemy vehicles.
Tanker Star ⭐ — for controlling ground vehicles
Destroy 50 enemies.
Win 14 battles (with an activity of 70% or higher).
Capture 15 points in ground battles whilst controlling a ground vehicle or helicopter.
Destroy 12 enemies in one battle (6 in RB, 6 in SB).
Help allies 30 times to destroy enemy vehicles.
Sailor Star ⭐ — for controlling fleet
Cause 25,000 damage whilst controlling a naval vessel.
Win 8 battles (with an activity of 50% or higher).
Capture 7 points in naval battles whilst controlling a vessel or aircraft.
Destroy 3 enemies with torpedoes whilst controlling a vessel or aircraft.
Finish the battle in first place in naval battles.
You can purchase the Stars ⭐ for Golden Eagles without even completing the task in the menu: Nickname → Achievements → Operation S.U.M.M.E.R. → Tasks for tankers/pilots/sailors
Detailed terms
- To receive a Star ⭐ you need to complete any 3 tasks from 5 for the respective type of vehicles.
- You can complete the tasks in random battles (excluding “Enduring Confrontation” and “Assault”) in vehicles of rank III or higher (for fleet - rank II or higher). The exact terms of the achievement can be found in the game client.
- Performing tasks must be completed with the destruction, and assistance in the destruction of, player controlled vehicles, NOT AI controlled vehicles.
- By completing the task “Win 14 times” in combined ground battles, the task will be counted as completed with the type of vehicle in which you finished the battle (ground vehicle or aircraft of the specified rank). By completing the same task in naval battles, the task will always be counted for ships.
- You can follow your progress by clicking on your nickname → Achievements → Operation S.U.M.M.E.R..
- The Star ⭐ will be counted as received if the achievements ★ are coloured gold ⭐.
- Missed Stars ⭐ can be purchased in the Achievement window until the 3rd of September. Don't make a mistake in choosing between the group of achievements - pilots, tankers and sailors.
- Coupons will not be available for trading on the market before the 4th of September. You can see in the game the time from which the coupon can be traded in the coupon description. The possibility of selling each coupon separately depends on the time of its receipt and does not depend on the vehicle on the coupon.
- From the 10th of August, PlayStation 4® and Xbox One players will be able to exchange decoration and decal coupons for similar ones (you can exchange coupons of the same type). The exchange is available in the “Workshop” - Exchange items “Operation S.U.M.M.E.R. 2020”.

Dear friends! Due to server issues occurring on Aug 23rd, all active Premium accounts have been extended by 12 hours. The time required to complete the current Operation S.U.M.M.E.R. tasks will be also extended by 12 hours. “Mark of distinction 9 for tankers/pilots/sailors” can be achieved up until 23:00 UTC/GMT, Aug 25th. Therefore, on Aug 25th both Marks of Distinction 9 and 10 will be active. Thank you for your support!

What is the point of having to enter a code to be in the event? Well I guess I am not doing this event now...
I find the Pilot star takes way less effort than the Tanker star to achieve. The former is doable where the latter takes so much time I decided to skip that one. Maybe it is just me, but I find the requirements for tankers alot more difficult to fullfil than those for pilots. Maybe because you can also get Pilot progression in the GFRB mode. I haven't touched navy so can't comment on that star. Thanks for the event :)
I bring this up each event. Would be nice and very easy to put a countdown clock on the front webpage counting down to the event or reset. This way everyone across the world can see the event starts or each new 2nd day reset is going to happen. Yes I can google international times, but this would be an easy community friendly way that takes probably one web dev 30 minutes to put in, test and release.
I gave up after getting 1 star, 50 kills and 30 assists is just way too much. Took me whole day to complete the tasks, also strained my eyes while doing this. Just not worth the effort. I'm gonna grind the British tech tree now.
Yesterday was one of those days when it doesn’t go so good and it took me over 7 hours to finish. I played persistently until I finished just to see how much time it takes. And then they write some fictional statistics here to justify this shame. I would advise the people who decide about this kind of events to play a couple of games next time before they decide anything, it won't hurt you!

So point captures count towards stars in boats and tanks, why not in planes? I don't think I've encountered nearly as many airfield cap missions before this event.
Turns out it's impossible to get all 10 decals or 4 gun 3D decals because the game will give you duplicates, so if you want that Werewolf decal or Swedish lmg, you're gonna have to buy what you're missing on the market. Gaijin is ran by scumbags always on the look out for a quick buck.
