We celebrate along with our French players and wish them a very happy Bastille Day, a national holiday in France, considered also as the French Independence Day!
Prisoners of the Bastille, an ancient fortress prison, were set free by freedom fighters in 1789. Thus the French Revolution began, proclaiming the people of France free from monarchy and tyranny.
From July 14th (11:00 GMT) until July 17th (07:00 GMT)
fight 3 battles in French combat vehicles (rank II and above, with an activity of 60% and above) to receive special decal: Bastille Day.
Terms and conditions
- The task can be completed in random battles, except ‘Enduring Confrontation’ and ‘Assault’ gaming modes.
- Check your progress by clicking your Nickname → Achievements → Bastille Day.

Good event Gaijin. But could you please reduce the repair cost on tanks. Currently, the Super Pershing is 9000 SL to repair, but the Tiger II is only 4000 SL. And seeing how similar these tanks are in performance, it's just unfair for the American players. They have higher repair, purchase and crew train cost compared to other tanks at the same BR. Thanks if you even read this.
haha, thats cheap! look at RB repair prices for spaded english Conqueror, or french Lorraine, Char 25, etc.
I wished they would relate repair costs to BR: for example make tank repair costs for all heavies 1000 x their BR, for all mediums 800 x their BR etc. That would make so much more sense!
Where's the discount for wheeled vehicles?
if only there was a way i could work the Willies Jeep with a 12.7mm AA on the back into a conversation about Bastille day, they did drive all over Europe... nar too big a stretch, oh well Happy Bastille day, wait was not a happy day for many, lots lost their heads... liiiike I will if we get a willies jeep into a research tree :P

Finished the achievement, wasn't awarded the decal? Is this perhaps awarded after the event finishes?
The decal can be found in the Special category. I've got mine; it's not awarded after the event.
I completed my 3 matches and I still haven't gotten the decal? Cant see any progress or the star is not lit up like it normally does, any help?

Ok I got it. You shouldnt leave the match and go to hanger, even if you have no vehicles left. Stay till the end.
