Is this real or an April fools joke? This is awesome!!
I this a april fools joke?
"Active protection system" would have been too obvious gaijin, evidently. Its finally coming ! What about "firing control system" with semi automatic aiming system like helicopters have.
It really provokes me that gajin is doing all this work, just to delete it. Good gamemode. But still- they leave a lot of potential untouched, just like 2018 with silent thunder; never played so much warthunder before or after April 2018.
Even if you would get the object 279 like players speculated, it's not worth the insane frustration which comes with this "event". It's honestly the least fun event i've played so far and i have pretty low standards, part of the reason i'm still playing this game after 6 years. I mean, i get it, you want to test your active protection system, but wasn't there a more low effort way to achieve this? Like, remodel a tank a bit and give us a new map in the process which stays in the rotation?
By the way, this isn't meant to be "flame". I'm just kind of sad it's another one of *those* events. Just give us something jolly fun to dick around in for a couple of days, no need to waste ressources which could be allocated to improve the game. Just give us ponies again, after some not that well precieved events in the past players have been longing for it, probably because it was just something really goofy and fun without anything attached to it. Maybe add RB this time, tired of "aim here".
Quite honestly when I first saw this I thought we had a NASA canberra for april fools, because man those things like to go into space during normal matches
love the prize vehicles but the crafting is very tedious
i miss war thunder sadly i'm still recovering from my stroke
That tank just looks super unpenable, It better be 9.0 I swear to god.
As a mainly naval player, I'd love to see an expansion of tech trees to contemporary ships. Space warfare should feel a bit more "familiar" after researching every naval vessel. Who knows, maybe something great can come out of an april fool's joke.
