Next Shooting Range - Tips & Tricks section should be about how to survive the Ka-50 swarm. Take a clueless MBT and have a Ka-50 shoot at it from 8-10km, where the MBT can't hear it (so doesn't even know a heli is in the battle), and if flown right, can't see it either. Then, try and dodge the Vikhr missile that you don't know is coming, you don't know the direction it's coming from, and can only hear it in the last second. I'm eagerly awaiting your recommendations!
Hint: tank players have absolutely no way of knowing a missile is coming at them, unless they spot it by blind luck. At the same time top tier CAS (be it helis or planes) have plenty of indicators, they get multiple sound and visual warnings when an SPAA is either scanning for them, or shooting at them. How is that balanced for you?
Turenkarn, Only the most modern tanks (none of which are in the game) have equipment that "could" detect/divert a ATGM, it would not be realistic to have it in the game right now. aircraft & helicopters have a array of sensors, the missile approach warning system (MAW) to detect & disrupt incoming missiles. putting this on a tank is expensive & difficult to implement (IRL). aircraft have them because they are a more valuable asset.
Hey Bruce, could we get a lobby system developed (like in Call of Duty) where players are put into a room where they can vote on what map is going to be played next? because this whole ban/dislike thing REALLY isn't working out for me (and probably a lot of others too)... i'm so tired of playing maps that were designed for ranks 1-3, i.e. smaller and slower tanks with less advanced optics, such as karelia and ash river and whiterock castle in my top MBT's
Will the M163 (american SPAAG) ever be moved down to 7.7. because at the moment it is completely outclassed by the Sargent York in almost every way, minus the smaller profile the M163 has.
And America, like Britain and russia, have a lack of potent SPAAGs past 6.0 for america and 4.7 for both Britain and russia
Dude ofcourse not. Otherwise the Shilka would be moved to 7.7 aswell and so would the Chieftain marksman, Gepard etc
Is there a failure rate for torpedoes? As everyone is insta-kill, everytime. Or is it just me?
Can you guys make a game mode especially for bombers? It seems like the bombers and fighters don't well fit into one game mode and it usually make the game boring cuz bombers climb into space...
Wow, this game is so dumb. The enemy had 4 players with multiple destroyers while our team had NONE. Of course we lost. Pathetic, gaijin, just pathetic.
Wait, no devblog for monday?
Hype helos, hype navy, demonstrate unreliable battle tactics....BOOOORING.
Mr. Bruce when will get the A10 Warthog in the game?
Why do the air gunners not engage the ships and boats when a plane attacks a ship or boat? if I was sitting in the gunners position I am buggered If I would just sit there with a live gun as some salty was firing at me!
I have often wondered the same thing!
