We are pleased to present you with three new locations from the upcoming War Thunder update 1.91!
Cargo port
This location is designed for Ground Forces mixed battles on short and mid engagement ranges. Harsh clashes will take place here, among the port buildings and cargo cranes. Fill this labyrinth of shipping containers with the thunder of guns and melting armor!
Palau Islands
These picturesque floating rocks topped with emerald green could be found only in Palau archipelago. The most dramatic sea battles for control over the Pacifics will take place in turquoise bays and scattered rocks of the “Palau Islands”. Full speed ahead, captains!
Japanese Port
This naval battles location was inspired by the landscapes of Japan and the Yokohama trade port. A scenic East Asian bay will be open for naval vessels and aircraft when update 1.91 goes live! See you there soon!

yet another knife fight map.
Ooh great, another leave to hangar map, the main reason that im leaving
So... container ship (after 1970s) and traditional style houses like mountainous poor village before WW2 in one map?> Japanese Port
Wait, the "Japanese Port" was based Yokohama? Is it a joke? Even Novorossiysk map is more similar to Yokohama lol
aizenns, It wasn't. " inspired by the landscapes of Japan and the Yokohama trade port", inspired not based on
I hope Cargo Port is not for high tiers, or at least if it is then it has some long range sightlines, otherwise it's already a hard no from me.
Inb4 cap point in cargo port is at the end of the "spiral" XD
That's the evilest thing I can imagine!
What's the Spiral? Do you mean the foremast of the ship? lol
Can we please get some realistic settings for tanks? With medium/long range engagement distances? With terrain cover that enable to flank and use the maneuvrability and speed of the modern tanks? Please. Seriously.
I agree. Average tank vs tank combat distance (WW2, Western Front) was around 700 meters. So if I play "realistic" mode, I expect realistic environment Or just remove crewlock and let me leave this labyrinth trashes without punishment.
KGRP, dude, with the VFW and sticking to map edges, longest shot was around 1300. the 8,8 flak gun had a 50% at 1500 during firing range, and we barley even get near that range at average
What's the matter with tall buildings in small towns? I mean they are for crowded cities, not for tiny towns. Also if they were rendered at a distance and all that stuff that was bugged from Alaska map were fixed it would be gr8 but i'm only seeing reused props all over the place. Really lazy map design. Shame on you
Nice Maps, cant wait
Why do we have to get another unrealistic battlefield? Playing on American Desert is so unimmersive. Don't tell me you can't find suitable historical locations. I hate this trend and hope that we see some some proper historical maps like a korean map, stuff from the gulf wars or a syrian map.
What's with giving us infantry maps for tank battles every new map release? Aren't those more suitable for Enlisted, whenever that is released? =/
