On the 14th July we commemorate Bastille Day, where French revolutionaries stormed the Bastille fortress and marked a major turning point in the French Revolution in 1789. This inspirational moment in France's history embodies the spirit of Liberté, égalité, fraternité ("liberty, equality, fraternity"), that define the country to this day.

Complete the tasks in French vehicles of rank II and higher and get festive decals!
Destroy 40/20 (AB/RB and SB) enemy vehicles.
Win 10 times with activity of 60% and higher.
Play 3 battles and make at least 2,000 scores in each.
Terms
- The tasks can be performed in random battles in vehicles of rank II-VII, but not in “Enduring Confrontation” and [Assault] game modes.
- You can purchase the decals instead of completing tasks in the tab Nickname → Achievements → Bastille Day.

Why can't there ever be decals that were actually used. Like the last event... Why would I ever put a 101AB decal on anything? There are thousands upon thousands of unit emblems and nose art available that people could actually use.
We add "normal" (historical) decal every two weeks.

You need to use French vehicles. You can always buy it for GE.
I wish they never got rid of the Narval, it was such a cool turboprop.
To commemorate Bastille Day we have also decided to balance the French tech tree while blindfolded.
Just noticed the ingame information for the Tour Eiffel achievement specifies: Get "4th of July" Decal for completing this task. Think someone just copy pasted from the previous celebration and forgot to change all the text XD
Thanks, should be fixed. And yes, tasks should be similar to the one we had previously. I mean, we should make it harder for France, but in this case, we decided to not ;)

What a cruel insult Gaijin! French tanks under tier 2 are unplayable because they suck and over tier 2 you get either american tanks, or the actual good french tanks with +10k repair cost so you will never profit. Get rid of repair cost entirely, it is an useless method of balance that both does not work and is hated by everyone.
I had completed the requirements for the 14 bullet decal (it even shows 3/3 on the achievement) but the achievement isn't completed not I have that decal could you explain to me why (I have the tour Eifel decal but not the Marianne yet)
