World War has begun, soldiers! Mobilization!
Attention! Outdated news format. Content may not display correctly.
We knew from the very beginning that World War mode would become an inherent part of the game that would allow all aircraft, ground vehicles and fleet so accurately recreated in the game, to truly shine in historical battles.
Today we are proud to announce the new start of World War mode!
World War is beginning with “Recon under Fire” - it’s the name of the first season which contains “The Battle of the Vitebsk”, “The Battle of El Alamein”, “Northwind” operations and “The Battle for Caen“. Fight for valuable awards until the 10th of June as a member of a squadron or be a lone fighter. World War is open for everyone!
War Thunder is a game about war.
A world war.

SIGN MUH UP! Where do I start?
this idea is extremely cool. but i have the feeling its just gonna end up being a rather one sided fight as most allied players... dont exactly will have a number advantage... or any at all... but then again its a game so its fun to see whats going to happen still placing bets were going to end up with an axis spam
Hey, I got a BIG question is the B-36 PEACEMAKER going to be in the game because of the term "world war" strategic long-range bombers have a role now right?
How do I get in on this, Beta test?
You wait until the announced start date. "Reading is fundamental!"
Only one question: WHEN?
There is a countdown clock at the top.
Any eta on when the open beta will be, or is that still tbd?
