2018 was very special for War Thunder: we broke the sonic barrier, discovered helicopters and combat vessels together and we keep on discovering new eras of the combat vehicles and technologies. We obtained vehicles of the new era, got new locations, improved models, graphics and sound.
All these become possible thanks to your contribution, and we were happy to see you in War Thunder in 2018!

Happy new year. Hope we get to see more WW2 vehicles. And more early first gen jets. Like P-59. And hope to see 1 more nation in 2019. Maybe Sweden/Scandinavian/Nordic nations? :)
My Year 2018 in war thunder; Grinding at 7.0 American and not getting anywhere for 6 months. This game is going to die very soon if Gaijin is determined to torture money out of players in order to allow them to be tortured out of more money to allow them to get a chance of grinding to a stock Abrams with a repair cost which forces you to pay more for GE to stop the SL counter going down. JUST FIX THE GAME. Make it sustainable. I won't pay a cent toward this game until it becomes FREE 2 PLAY.

Now all that I wait for is for top tier Air RB to be fixed. AXIS 9.0 are still OP
Got the aircraft-related ones lit up, so not awful. Turns out the F86F-2 is my favourite. Who knew?

Will artillery tanks be implemented soon? Though they could fire similar to the WoT SPAG (birds eye view etc) and a lead indicator showing the predicted shell path

2018 was a good year, especially with the changes to parts, fpe, and field repairs. Gaijin, lets make 2019 even better by adding a tanks only game mode for those of us who dont want to feel unfairly killed by CAS.
