An IS-7 in War Thunder!
Soldiers! Operation S.U.M.M.E.R has been extended!
The “assembling” stage of the operation will begin on the 3rd of August and will last until the 13th, which means you will have one more week to complete tasks and receive the required blueprints before the second stage (tank assembling) begins!
Attention Engineers!
The second stage of Operation S.U.M.M.E.R. ends at 11:30 GMT on the 13th of August! After this, it will not be possible to get materials and other items from the event in battles.
At 11:30 GMT on the 20th of August, any items for the event available in the inventory and for sale in the market will be removed. Until then you will be able to exchange them for warbonds in the workshop at the following exchange rate:
- Т-34E/IS-7 materials - 1 warbond
- Т-34E/IS-7 rare materials - 2 warbonds
- Metal Detector (for ps4 and XBox) for the T-34E - 50 warbonds, for IS-7 - 100 warbonds
- Vehicle coupons (Т-34E, Sd.Kfz.234/4, М8, AEC MK.II - 1600 warbonds, IS-7 - 3000 warbonds)
Vehicle coupons, decorations and decals, also trophies with decorations and decals will not disappear and you will be able to permanently keep them.
Coupon, materials and parts exchange, also the assembly of the T-34E and IS-7 will be available until 11:00 GMT on the 20th of August. The option to trade coupons will permanently remain
In short
How to get the T-34E?
- 1. Complete 8 tasks from the 21st of July until the 5th of August to get the blueprint;
- 2. From the 3rd of August until the 13th of August - get the parts in battles at rank II-III and assemble the T-34E.
How to get the Sd.Kfz.234/4, M8 or AEC Mk.II? (if you do not want T-34E or already have the T-34E))
- 1. Assemble T-34E and get a coupon for the vehicle.
- 2. Exchange the received T-34E coupon for one of the following vehicles: Sd.Kfz.234/4, M8 or AEC Mk.II.
How to get the IS-7?
- 1. Complete 16 tasks from the 21st of July until the 5th of August to get an IS-7 hull blueprint;
- 2. Assemble the T-34E and in addition to the T-34E coupon, you will get an IS-7 turret blueprint;
- 3. From the 3rd of August until the 13th of August get the parts in battles of rank IV-VI and assemble the IS-7.
Stage 1: development | From 21st of July until 5th of August
To develop such an effective vehicle you need to gain combat experience. In this stage you will have daily tasks which will be rewarded with the T-34E blueprint, the first half of the IS-7 blueprint and other prizes.
Daily tasks
The sooner you finish the first stage by completing the tasks, the more time you will have to collect the resources for the start of the second stage - the construction of the vehicles!
By using ground vehicles of rank II-III
- Destroy 20 enemy vehicles (10 for RB 7 for SB);
- Win 4 battles (activity of 70% or higher);
By using ground vehicles of rank IV-VI
- Get “Supporting fire” achievement in a squad 5 times;
- Earn a score of 2000 or more in each of 4 battles
Awards for completing the tasks (new)
- For 4 tasks — +77% RP booster for 7 battles
- For 8 tasks — Т-34E blueprint (previously 14 tasks);
- For 12 tasks — coupon for one of the decals (armour units signs)
- For 16 tasks — first half of the IS-7 blueprint (previously 28 tasks);
- For 20 tasks — Т-34E camouflage
- For 24 tasks — coupon for one of the 3d decorations (firearms)
- For 28 tasks — IS-7 camouflage
- New tasks will start daily at 11:00 GMT.
- You can complete 4 tasks daily.
- You can track your tasks by clicking on your nickname → “Achievements” → “Operation S.U.M.M.E.R.”.
Stage 2: Construction of the Т-34E and IS-7 | From 3rd of August until 13th of August
Ressources and parts
In this stage you need to get Materials in battles to build the coveted vehicle. You can participate in this stage only after you have received the Т-34E blueprint.
Т-34E resources and rare parts
- Can be earned in random battles (except “Assault” mode) in ground vehicles of rank II-III.
IS-7 resources and rare parts
- Can be earned in random battles (except “Assault” mode) in ground vehicles of rank IV-VI which will apply only if the “IS-7 hull blueprint” is achieved.
- You will only receive the IS-7 turret blueprint after the final assembly of the T-34E together with a coupon for the T-34E.
- Resources and rare parts are given only if battle activity was 50% or higher in battle.
Vehicle assembly
If you have already received the blueprint and have enough “resources for assembling”, then you will be able to begin to build the vehicle in the workshop in several stages.
“Resources”
The base element is suitable for the assembly of T-34E or IS-7 parts depending on the rank of the battles played where it was received (for T-34E rank II-III, for IS-7 rank IV-VI).
(!) Can be sold on Market.
“Detail”
Will be created from resources of the corresponding vehicle. You need to choose what part you want to create.
(!) Can not be sold on Market.
“Rare part”
This part can not be created, but you can get it only in battle as with resources.
A rare part will be received by you in battles from the time you require them for assembly.
(!) Can be sold on Market
“Part of the tank”
Investigate the technical data of the tank you want to build, this may help you in choosing the correct recipe!
Creating a part of the tank is the most difficult process. To craft any of the parts you need to choose a craft recipe - and you to find the correct one! Don’t worry if you start crafting with the wrong recipe, you’ll get all your materials back. Some parts of the IS-7 can also be combined to obtain the final item.
Can not be sold on Market. Requires assembly time.
“Coupon "Т-34E"” or “Coupon "IS-7"
Coupons for vehicles can be obtained after assembling all the required Parts of the tank.
Can be bought or sold on the Market 24 hours from its receipt.
Using the Market during the accumulation of resources is completely unnecessary and you can easily collect them in the any battle.
Terms and conditions:
- You can track your tasks by clicking on your nickname → “Achievements” → “Operation S.U.M.M.E.R.”.
- Coupons for decals, decorations and vehicles can be obtained regardless of whether these items were received earlier or not.
- More about the achievement “Supporting fire” you can find on our War Thunder Wiki.
- You will be able to exchange the created T-34E coupon for one of the following vehicles:
- Germany: Sd.Kfz.234/4 (Premium Rank II)
- USA: M8 (Premium Rank I)
- Great Britain: AEC Mk.II (Premium Rank II)
- Event vehicle T-34E will be a premium vehicle at rank II and the IS-7 will be a regular event vehicle at rank V (without RP and SL boosters).
- You must be in a ground vehicle of required rank at the time of the event ending for the mission to count towards the task.
More information about how to assemble the vehicles, will be published nearer the start of the second stage. Follow the news!

We apologize for the late notice and postponement of the event. We informed you of this as soon as we noticed it. Sadly, we were not able to do it any earlier as the scale of the event was large and involved 3rd party services. We postponed the start for a few days to ensure that all features were working as intended and that you would have no problems participating in the event. Additionally, more players should be able to fulfill the requirements and participate in the complete marathon. Our goal is to provide you with information as soon as we can, we have no reason to not inform you as quickly as possible . Once again, we are very sorry for any inconvenience.
the worst part with the Get “Supporting fire” achievement in a squad 5 times; is that if u dont have a friend who can grind with u most of the times we dont even gett a random squad partner so we can do it been doing that 12 houers today and still nott finished beq i dont gett a squad partner random and then i gett one they only have one tank or go kamikaze or dont want to kill anny so why use a ach we cant do by ouer self its the dumbest ever
sorry dont know why it posted it again was nott ment to do that sorry
We better be able to buy the blueprints on the market, some of us have full-time jobs that take up all our time (but give us money to buy into the events). Otherwise I feel those of us with jobs will feel massively alienated, especially with all the money we put into the game.
they have made it a lot easier to get blueprints, heck I've only done 2 stars each day.
So i have t34e blueprint and is7 hull blueprint...so i can't start collecting the parts and resources before 3rd August(according to what mentioned before) ?
where do I find out which task I did and which one did not?
Go to your profile, achievements, Operation S.U.M.M.E.R., and then you find the tasks where you see the tasks what you have done and what you can still do.
I already made a schedule for grinding IS-7 is near )))
What happens if I already have the T34E, M8, Pakpuma, and the AEC Mk. II? I guess i'm just out of luck because there is no way i'm going to get the IS=7 unless Gaijin allows us to buy the tasks with GE.
Whats the percent chances for the parts to drop? I don't want to have to spend a whole week getting parts because the drop chances are so insanely low or because of duplicates.
