Can we have a crash course on assault modes? At the beginning of air assault it's been funny to see rookies landing and climbing back even with reserve planes. But now low level grinders are stubborn and can't listen on advices, like if they land with a damaged plane at least bail out after they stopped. Or reserve planes are free to respawn -.- Or let the dark red targets go, cause they got no bombs left. These are so simple things to say that both modes could fit in a single episode.
LOL, these "mistakes" are the War thunder norm, there is no other choice involved. as for `"fly in formation" that is the easiest way to line up kills for the enemy. But thanks for trying anyway.
Its about time that the bomb ballistics became realistic. Free fall bombs do not fly forward after release, they trail the releasing aircraft. The only time a free fall weapon will travel forward is if it is Tossed as used by the RAF Buccaneers. If it was realistic then a bomber would have to overfly its target, not as it is now where a bomber releases its bombs well before the target and then is free to turn away.
Pathetic. Completely out of touch. Your bombers are an insult for the real bombers. They are like paper planes unlike the real thing that can take a lot of hits to bring it down, even if it is a lone bird. Formation flying in WT is like formation suicide. After seeing this video, I am glad I made the right decision not to purchase anything on store this Summer :D
"there are some common mistakes that will get you back to the hangar..." Cueing in a bomber would be the first one
Long Range Bombers are never protected. The friendly fighters spawn to far away and on the ground. Meanwhile, on the Norway map, the enemy fighters are always higher altitude quicker than the bombers can reach their 1st target. Planes that have torpedos, NEVER spawn on a map where torpedos would be useful. Bombers need some support from Gaijin because they aren't getting it from anyone else in game.
