For every two “Chronicle awards” that pilots achieve, you will receive one of the following items: 50-200% Silver Lion booster, 50-200% Research Points booster, 5 random backup vehicles for aircraft of ranks II-V, a random camouflage for aircraft of ranks II-IV, a random talisman for aircraft of ranks II-IV.

The T18E2 Boarhound is a heavy wheeled armoured car that can compete with early-WWII medium tanks in terms of mass, firepower, and armour. The T18E2 is an 8x8 armoured car, i.e. an all-wheel drive vehicle. The vehicle’s armour is 50 mm thick, but the T18E2 can still reach speeds of up to 80 km/h. The armoured car is equipped with a precision 57mm cannon with a high rate of fire and two types of armour-piercing rounds: single-piece and APHE. The T18E2 is especially good at recon and supporting attacking tank groups.
The chassis of the Lorraine 40t (which should be familiar to our players by now) has been fitted with a massive 155 mm Howitzer in a simple casemate-style armoured enclosure. And so we have the Lorraine Automoteur 155mm mle50, the first high-calibre French SPG in the game. The SPG’s ammo loadout includes 28 separately loaded shells weighing over 40 kg each. An excellent special feature of this SPG is that, instead of a familiar AA machine gun, it is equipped with an automatic 20 mm cannon, which means that you have a good chance of defending yourself against enemy aircraft and even annoying light tanks.
The Sh-Tandem is one of the most unusual aircraft in War Thunder. This small high-speed attack aircraft was developed in the second half of the 30s. The vertical fins on this aircraft are installed on an extra rear wing, which made it possible to significantly reduce its length while preserving a large wingspan. In War Thunder the cute little Sh-Tandem will be waiting for you at rank 1 in the USSR military aircraft branch, so hurry up and get it in your hangar!
The Whirlwind heavy fighter was the first single-seat dual-engined fighter used by Great Britain’s RAF. The aircraft was originally created as a high-altitude interceptor for use against enemy bombers, so one of the project’s primary conditions was the ability to install guns on it. The aircraft’s impressive arsenal of four 20mm British Hispanos is augmented by bombs – the aircraft was actually used as a fighter-bomber during the war. Several variants of armament were tested for the P.9 prototype, in particular, one with linkless ammunition feed. Unlike the standard version, the P.9 doesn’t have a bomb rack but it does have impressive offensive weaponry - 4 Hispano cannons - with an ammo load of 484 shells, twice as much as the serial models!

We will make an additional announcement about the coupons that the players received on the 4th of May during this week. My reaction to the event rewards. https://imgur.com/a/QlkNk Seriously excited to get the PV-2 since I missed it with last years event!
its not the PV-2D. PV-2 is different
Ryan_King, Im pretty much sure is the same vehicle, maybe messy typing...
Normally I'm interested in getting some of these machines for myself regardless. But this time around I'm HEAVILY intrigued about these vehicles. Welp rest in peace social li- CRAP MY FRIENDS AND I HAVE COMPETITIVE THINGS PLANNED WHY GAIJIN WHYYYY In all seriousness at a first glance this event is looking pretty darn good and I'm excited to see how this event turns out!
sucks that im gonna be gone during this time. i was hoping it wouldve been after my basic training
My only question is what the price for each award is? IIRC the last chronicles one was 599GE or something, and some of the more recent ones were 799GE? I won't have the time to complete all the awards due to work and school, but I'll be damned if I miss out on both the Staghound and a 155mm Derp Gun that got initial D'd.
*Boarhound
the price seems to increase, only when none buys them, they will leave them at a fix price... I'd say 799 will be the minimum this time, they might try 899...
Ok. Gaijigle's, please. Can we get more British scout vehicles that AREN'T event vehicles? Britain is very much lacking in Scouts. And by lacking, I mean there's ONE. And it was an event vehicle.
Now you have two event recons and zero normal tree recons. You can look at the other trees and just wish gaijin grace you like they graced the other nations. I mean it's not like the UK was the biggest user of recon vehicles in WW2... oh wait they were...
don't think this one is british
What tier are the four vehicles? Do all four get the usual premium SL and RP bonuses?
Asked the same, no reply from them whatsoever. Fingers crossed that they will notice us.
gszabi99_HUN, From last experiences, any vehicle of tier 4+ wont have Talisman, damn, even the tier 2 LVT(A)(4) ZIS-2 didnt came with one...
Scarper, Stona, Quiche, or anyone with a clue: Will all of them be premiums? Tier for the Whirlwind (Tier III?) and the Lorraine TD (Tier IV?) ? Please I need these answered, as I won't start the grind unless they are premiums.
Every vehicle they give out thru event is premium always
Banegejmer, Not true, the LVT ZiS, Type-62, Me 262A and Ki-94-II were all not premium vehicles despite being given out in events, among others.
Will the T18E2 be in the american or british tree?
At a guess, American. It seems there is one vehicle for each allied nation. Shame really
I might have missed it in the information, but I hope you put the Boarhound in the British tree. I mean, the Americans designed and built it, but the only ones ordered, delivered and used were for the British in North Africa.
I'm going to guess it's american, since it looks like there's one vehicle for each allied nation. Also, it's pretty much an identical situation as the locust, Created for and only used by the british, yet that's american. And the chaffee was used a lot by britain (chaffee was the British nickname, same as sherman)
I sure hope you actually checked the definition of "unique" this time... Last time, those "unique" camos weren't so unique... since pretty much every other tank in that nation had them available too.
