Naval Battles testing will be available for all who purchased Naval packs!
Test features:
- Distance at which enemy torpedo markers appear has been reduced from 400 to 150 m. in RB .
- Speed loss while maneuvering has been increased (speed will reduce more).
It’s very simple. Become the owner of one of the pre-order packs in the Gaijin store. Your purchase will automatically make you a member of the beta test.
In addition, the set contains some fantastic game bonuses, including a unique premium craft which will be available in beta test. Please note! Game sessions for the first testing stage will be available in special Events (Events and Specials - Naval Battles) at specific times, several times a week.
Do you own an early access package? Congratulations, for you it’s easy!
Launch the game as normal and you will be presented with the option to download the main testing files on joining one of the test events, there is no requirement for a different launcher. After this, visit the game’s official forum, log in with your account and check out the special forum section!
We’ve also opened an application for players who want to participate but haven't purchased the packs for the closed beta test, which starts later. You can send in an application and we’ll review you as a candidate for the role of captain on a military vessel.
Send ApplicationAttention! You can participate in the testing from no more than two PC’s.
In the special forum section, you can find out about the testing schedule and news. You can also discuss future naval vessels with the developers. We hope to see you there.

Maybe
Stona_WT, hehehe
Good to see the naval forces being updated regularly, I was hesitant at first but now I can say I'm looking forward to seeing where ti goes!
Of course we update it. It's under heavy development :)
Stona_WT, Yes, we can clearly see it. With this kind of focus maybe naval forces will be ready in 2030.
It’s a bit surprising to me that gaijin still have not released war thunder naval yet given how popular world of warships has been.
Why is it a surprise? Mate, they're working hard on fixing bugs and making naval battles the best they can make. When you're creating huge ships with such sufficient level of detail, bug fixing is always there and all of the content they're working on, of course it should take this long. No one wants an unfinished product! :)
yeah im surprised as well
Japanese Type-93 torpedo was "oxygen" (use pure oxygen for engine) and due to it also trackless. In the WT is the bubble track visible - will this bug be fix or is it balance feature?
might be best to make a suggestion or make a bug report, but, it maybe a balance feature but will not know if no reports or suggestions are made
Pacifica, Cannot make a bug report. I´m not in the CBT... https://forum.warthunder.com/index.php?/topic/398226-bug-report-for-beta-test/
How many tests are left for bug fixing then naval content introduction?
well, no fixed number of tests, I know it may have seemed that way from a Dev Q&A but Devs will announce plans for full CBT when things are fine tuned and any critical game play/balance bugs are sorted out
Cruisers soon? ;)
Last time I heard about cruisers, they were not even sure if they're going to implement them at all I think. I might have mised something though. For now, I would be fine with playing my T-34/Katyusha boat at least.
Arkus86, No, cruisers have been confirmed. Light cruisers, at least.
nice ty gaijin.Lets see were going this :)
Can't wait to start playing this. Should be getting access in a little bit.
Gib Gato-class Fleet submarine
The only thing that i feel as a tester that its kinda still wierd before we move into CBT is the aim system, as of right now the the estimated distance vs the distance is you're actually shooting is kinda bouncing as it doesn't auto-adjust itself as you or your target move. and dont even get me started on AA guns vs Planes if you want to kill that plane you better YOLO it or let the AI do it, example the Fletcher's HE with radio fuses ok, they get the job done but its almost impossible to aim
