“North sea” is a location for naval battles. This location was inspired by the landscape of the Frisian Islands and the Jade Bight. The battle will take place amongst the rocks and smaller islands in the bay that is covered from 3 sides, light motor boats may perform fast attack maneuvers and then hide behind the rocks for protection whilst destroyers join the battle from the open sea. Aircraft will be able to reach the epicentral area relatively safely, but then they do need to take heed of the numerous AA-guns of any combat vessels.

Launch the game as normal and you will be presented with the option to download the main testing files on joining one of the test events, there is no requirement for a different launcher. After this, visit the game’s official forum, log in with your account and check out the special forum section!
We’ve also opened an application for players who want to participate but haven't purchased the packs for the closed beta test, which starts later. You can send in an application and we’ll review you as a candidate for the role of captain on a military vessel.

As a Dutch person, I feel obliged to dive headfirst into this comment section and proclaim my pride. Well then, here we go! WOOOOO!! SOMETHING INSPIRED BY DUTCH ISLANDS WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! Any other Dutch people in here that feel a disproportionate sense of pride because something in a video game is based on the leasat important part of our country?

My only compliant this whole year that naval battles are being tested is that the schedule is always the same..There could be some rotation to make it easier for everyone to participate(for example tests around 08:00 - 12:00 GMT or 12:00 - 16:00 GMT)
Same, i usually am in squadron battles at these times.
I don't know why the servers aren't just up all weekend, then again maybe there's some specially trained hamsters that monitor them these exact times...
I do rather having you boys focusing on the ground force itself first before anything else lol Bugs like the type-60 sprg can only get one of its tube (106mm gun) refil with ammunition while the another tube is left empty so you can only use one of its main gun with 5 rounds, this bug exists since it was added and noone is bother to fix it. I heard people reported this bug in the forum but as soon as he didn't get enough support he said this bug was completely ignored.
Bug reports do not require "enough support" to be submitted. No valid report is ever ignored. The only reason it would not have been submitted is if it did not comply with the guidelines or was proved invalid.

I think not. Since there are boats in the game and the only "big ships" are destroyers.
Then the PT Boats will be useless since they will have no cover to hide from the destroyers. Free kills basically...

Where is japanese naval pack?
As a local, living in north germany my only comment: there are no rocks, despite one island "Helgoland" .... and no mountains around. Only flat flat flat Land, with some cows and trees ;-)
The test time is kinda... unsatisfying for us in East Asia area, for it's several hours past 12AM, and another several hours before 12PM... Not the best time for people with regular schedules at weekend.
It's been like that for the entirety.
