Yes, as it has been stated on the page
Like do all AB/RB/SB or just one? And obtain that much kills in each mode?
Well, if you fly RB or SB you get 1 kill that equals 2 kills for the achievement, if you then go fly AB then only 1 kill equals 1 kill for the achievements, so you can fly a mix of modes and it all counts towards the same achievement
My question is whether US-built aircraft in other trees as premiums also count. Like the Mustang Mk.1A I personally own and love to fly.
hmm, pretty sure only the US Tree counts
Are there any restrictions on what vehicles and/or nations you would have to use in air battles to make progress towards this event? I would think you would need to use US planes, but I couldn't find mention of it on this page.

Rank III is easy/fast to obtain, and it is meant to be a rare gift... so there maybe other opportunitys to get it again at a later point in time
I activated the code but it's not traking any of my progress and I'm using the correct planes.....
Please double check to make sure they are Rank III, otherwise there maybe a bit of a delay and if the issue persists then please make a bug report with screenshots and .Clog File fo investigation
So first I was happy when I saw the special, then I saw the reward and thought it would be hard, and then I see it's only 25 kills. This was a roller coaster of emotion, btw Gajin do you feel good with giving us all these lovely planes/tanks? :D :D :D

A doable event without ludicrous task and a guaranteed reward ? Meh. Still far from being enough to make up for the mess you call an "update".
