We are happy to introduce some new features of the next Major Update 1.71 “New E.R.A”: composite and explosive reactive armour for the ground vehicles!
When rounds that could penetrate up to 400mm of armoured steel were invented, engineers had to find a new approach to tank protection. One of these solutions became composite armour - protection that consists of several layers of different materials, and though it has significantly less mass than conventional steel armour, it is equally durable.
The second option was reactive armour. Such “armour” consists of metal containers with explosives and metal plates. When the container is hit - the explosive jet causes detonation and the plates “fly towards” the jet, thus the jet penetrates new sections of the plates losing focus and penetration.

Are you guys going to make the leopard 2a7? That would defeat the russian bias for ever.
7 yo tank? Please.
Can we expect a Chieftain 800 or 900 with Chobham Armour?
Cmon dont leave us brits out.... wheres our tank?
Somewhere near.
Will we see the first abrahams (the m1) version. It didn't have composite armor and had the 105mm m68 cannon. It would be cool to see. T-64 looks great btw. :)
by modeling all the different types of armor for t64, does this mean there will be many models of it or different modules?
Does this mean the T95E1 will recieve it's multi-layer armour? As of right now shells seem to go through like butter.
So no Italian tanks anytime soon... :(
T-72 or bust
Nice with the new era, but please separate the ERAS I mean WWII era tanks Vs Post war Tanks.. thats not fair, The Tech of these era's are way to hughe. same as tech of ww1 and ww2 tanks. I hope you guys will separate it, i dont wanna play against ww2 tanks if am a post war tank. or make new game modes like ww2 game mode post war gamemode and mixed game mode (WWII and Post war together) that would be awsome!
nice m60a1 remaked but whit reative armor
