The event, which we started for the 1st of April has come to an end, but our work on War Thunder continues.
We thank you for your feedback, it was very nice to read them!
This testing was successful in the first place because many of the mechanics in War Thunder have already been implemented before: X-Ray view, ATGMs, different types of shells, their distribution in the vehicle etc. War Thunder was ready for modern vehicles. New mechanics, which were implemented specially for the event will be tested for main game modes in War Thunder.
Implementation of such a mission was only possible with support, which you give us every day. Thanks to all the hundreds and thousands of people that helped us to test IXth rank. It was an absolute record among all of our 1st of April events by the number of players alone.

I know a lot of work was and has been put into the april fools day events. I'm sorry to say this, but this wasn't the best april fools day event they've done. Maybe i've been spoiled by the walking tanks, gaijilla, and the inflatable tanks of yesteryears. This being said i'd really like to see separate events for air and ground, like ufos over berlin or landkruzer ratte takedown in sinai or the rhine.

Hey War Thunder! When you add on other MBTs later, can you guys add multi national tanks? Like Israel's Markava Mk4, South Korea's K2 Black Panther, French AMX 50 Leclerc, China's Type 99, Italy's C1 Ariete ..etc and more!

Glad to hear this event was such a success, and that Modern Vehicles are indeed coming. ^^ I am actually putting together a review along with a home made " promotion ". I will send them to you Gaijin once its all put together. lets make this the best it can be. XD
I just feel the new version of spawning vehicle is better than now, which is ground does not cost point but aviation will. Some times in currently team death mode I could be completely not contributed but our side still winning.
Can't wait for tier IX to be permanently in-game ;)
well i think the heli where fun i do hope you guys will add them in in the futer. but like B0ris_the_blade say it will be nice to have them separated in a way that will not kill the main player base.
