Fellow pilots and tankers!
Each weekend, War Thunder players compete for the first places in the blitz-tournaments on the TSS website.
Let’s meet the new winners:
Ground Forces Tournaments
PeGWHiTe was the best in the Tank blitz-tournament 1x1 in Arcade Battles mode, where he played in this favorite German heavy tank - the Tiger II (H) Sla.16. Player __ZE_VS__ rightfully took the 2nd place by losing only in the final battle.
Hands down, the best tanker of January is _PeeKaBoo_ - his Team_EPiK won the Tank blitz-tournament 2x2 in the Realistic Battles mode in an exciting battle with the Deja_vu team. After losing in the semi finals, Team_EPiK returned to the final through the loser’s bracket and took their champions title.
The Tank blitz-tournament 2x2 in the Simulator Battles mode was won by team DYNAMIGHT and its captain - _PeeKaBoo_, became the 4 times champion in the tank blitz-tournaments in 2017! Team GOLOD took the 2nd place by getting through the loser's bracket to the finals.
Aircraft Tournaments
The PRO100 squadron can be proud of their members - the champion of the Air blitz-tournament 1x1 in the Arcade Battles mode is fIip, who won without losing any matches. But the most exciting part of this tournament was the loser’s bracket final which ended in a draw! Players Forbidden404 and Sta1ker97 fought until the last second of the match and finished sharing the 2nd place.
Hero of the Air blitz-tournament 1x1 in the Realistic Battles mode is WindXABK - after losing against _V3na in the 1/4 finals, he didn’t give up and went to the final through the loser’s bracket. In the final match he faced the previous weekend champion - ManiacSithMaster. After a tough duel, WindXABK managed to end up on top and become the best.
In the Air blitz-tournament 1x1 in the Simulator Battles mode, JG154_Fritz demonstrated his skill in the duels, giving no chances for win to the competition. The famous Japanese virtual pilot Taue took the well deserved 2nd place.
The first Tactical 4x4 tournament in the Arcade Battles mode ended last Saturday. In the new combined battles mode, three teams stood out - SCORN, FuFuT and 100. Team FuFuT got to the final without losing any matches, while SCORN had to play in the “lower” bracket after they lost to 100 in the 1/4 finals. In the end, SCORN not only managed to get to the final, but they also became champions, while FuFuT and 100 took the 2nd and 3rd place respectfully.
