Dear friends,
We continue to expand the possibilities for you to create game content!
Camouflages, locations and missions, aircraft and now ground vehicles! You may seek to take advantage of the War Thunder Wiki which contains information on how to create game content, such as our guide on how to create models of ground vehicles!
Creating art is not only an opportunity to add your creation to the game, but also a real chance to earn money in our affiliate program Revenue Share, which enables you to yield part of the earnings from the sales of content you create. There are already multiple camouflages that have been created by our active players which have been selected to take part in the Revenue Share program, and even a complete vehicle - the German night interceptor He-219A-7, created by _Joy_Division_. Nice! Camo ha? u mean Historical camo?
Yes. You can find them in game :)
How does the revenue share program work for non-premium implementions? (Example: for Era V tanks and planes or cockpits for non-premium aircraft)
We do not offer it for non-premium content for now.
What are the criteria for submitting skins, and other things? I've looked around for a while but I still can't find information on the process for creating content.
Oh look a Char B1 Bis
how can i make sure the vehicle i choose to model is elegible for the revenue program ? i would like to add the Argentinian TAM ingame..
BTW, thanks for this opportunity !
Your best bet is to make a vehicle that will be popular to the player base. You can contact the Suggestions staff and request from them (if you like) which suggested vehicles are popular but are currently not in the game. Obviously, the more popular the vehicles that are produced then the more return the given artist/player will get for their efforts.
Is it possible to extract models from the game to make varients of? For example, if we wanted to make the Sturmtiger or T30 prototype, could we extract the existing chassis or do we have to make the whole thing from scratch?
I am so divided about this. Its awesome that the devs outsource some work to make it possible for us to get even more content. On the other hand I am so afraid that eager model makers will make tons of awesome stuff which gets into the game but sadly as a premium. Its a great concept. I mean less work for the developers and still more stuff for us but I fear we might have really cool stuff that I wanted now as a premium. We will see what the future holds :D
what is the sofware used for this models ?
War Thunder CDK... see link above. Just under the story.
Great, I wanna add my my M4A6 to the game, Now, all I have to do is figure out how to actually make it.....and then submit it.
Good luck
hey quick unrelated question, are you guys ever gonna fix the SPAA in this game? They cost too low to bring in, and the tier 5 ZSU-57 spam is getting ridiculous. SPAA should either have no hvap rounds, have their pen decreased, and/or have their spawn points the same as a meduim or heavy tank, because the constant kugelblitz/zsu-37/ostwind/ especially the OP zsu-57 crap is getting really annoying
indeed
