The terrain -El Alamein
El Alamein as a battlefield gained its significance due to battles that occurred during the Second World War, more specifically, during the North African Campaign, when British troops defeated the Italian-German forces led by Erwin Rommel. The front covered a large area, and was situated along the Mediterranean coast, around El Alamein through to the “Qattara Depression” of the Libyan desert.
In-game, this location is an inland elevation of the terrain. The battlefield is located away from the coast, in a position that can be considered ideal due to its diverse terrain. Approximately half of the location hosts desert sand, which can prove advantageous to those seeking cover or even a beneficial vantage point. The remainder of the location hosts rocky formations which are divided into smaller areas, allowing for intense close combat.

oo yeah its totally not cents vs T-54s its chieftains pwn'ing T-54's (i have only seen 1 T-10)on an open desert map where in RB mode u can spawn into planes first!!!!1
hey i know that war thunder has the models for infantry in game but they aren't used. will there be infantry and added to normal matches and will there be infantry tanks/half-tracks added to the game for play by players and if there are going to be added will the players be to control the infantry the they can deploy?
Why add the Cheftain Mk3 or other higher tier tanks? That defeats the purpose of a tank duel.
well waited about 23 minutes and didn't get into battle I even swapped to AB just to see and there was pretty much no one on gg Gaijin, why not just off the event through regular play?
Glad I came and read how fail this is before I waited another 10 minutes to get a game. Bad work Gaijin.
There is no way to play this "duel". I'm waiting 3-20 minutes (or more) for game. I'm watching movies on YT between games.
