Would you consider to support the "Weekly Challenge Contest" created by me? I can gladly hand it to you. You can check it here (it couldn't have popularity in the first week unfortunately): https://forum.warthunder.com/index.php?/topic/317888-weekly-challenge-contest/?p=6231978 As @Bombtastic states, putting the photo of the equipment you use into a social media is to invite hackers to hack your equipment. That's the unfortunate truth :(
Sorry to break it to you RedTribe and Bombastic, but welcome to the internet. Not posting a picture of your 'gaming station' does nothing to help or hurt your security. Simply having internet access does far more 'damage' than you really know. No 'hacker' would browse the internet, see your 'awesomely cool' gaming room and choose to hack you just because he saw nice eye candy. If he did, that would be the worst 'hacker' ever.
Neptune_Man, Might I remind you both, that signing up to this game, website and forum, you gave out personal information....your IP, email, and access to certain files on your computer ( War Thunder update go strait to the folder you saved the game...they could be putting anything in there....or they could be TAKING stuff from there or other places on your computer without you knowing). Obviously though, companies such as Gaigin doesn't do such things, but lots of others do *cough* ˢᵗᵉᵃᵐ *cough*
What is this. Name same about? Do they mean game name? As in username?
Quick question: What name should I put in the picture? Do I use my War Thunder nickname OR the name my social media account is under?
AKA WT Account name or FB Account name?
