A mere 130 kilometres away from the Soviet capital of Moscow, rural Volokolamsk saw fierce conflict in the early years of war between Germany and the Soviet Union. As one of the most advanced positions of the German Wehrmacht during the invasion, decisive battles were fought here that took part in sealing the outcome of the Battle of Moscow. As one of the recent winter locations added to War Thunder, Volokolamsk offers tactical diversity and opportunity for tricky manoeuvres (especially during snow storms!), so let's have a look at the map in detail.
Are you a battle-hardened veteran of Volokolamsk already? Share your favorite spots and epic experiences on this location in the comments below!

give the full map to RB!
Pls gaijin do this!
Volokolamsk, Karelia and Hurtgen Forest are my favourites maps. Please, make Volokolamsk in spring/summer variant.
Add more maps like this one with, villages, maybe with a larger village!! :D
I already don't like snow maps, but this takes the cake for worst map in game.
I think you meant "Frozen Pass".
Why not both ?
It's a nice snowy map. Although when you have to capture a central flag, it all ends in stalemate. Being able to shoot through buildings does give the game a different dynamic.
Sorry for saying this, but i really hate this map. I rather like playing more Frozen Pass then this one
1st thing: this map needs changes in cap points in arcade they are too close from each other
And RB. Map is WAY to small. Why don't we get to use the entire map Gaijin? Like Kursk. Everybody likes the size of Kursk.
What? Kursk is the most boring map in this game!
Discuss it at the Community Front Page Discussion https://forum.warthunder.com/index.php?showforum=849
Make these tiny maps full size. Being spawn killed a minute and a half in and spawns are way to close to caps. And conquest on the other Alpine map the north cap is LITERALLY in the north spawn.
Well I don't like snow maps, and I mean that, but I guess some people like it. However as we aren't soldiers here but we are doing this game for fun and some of us even spend some money on playing it, it would be a very good option if every player could choose 3 maps that they don't like, and wouldn't get the option to play there. If some map would be constantly empty, Gaijin would know that they should fix it. It would be quite simple, wouldn't it
should also do this with game types. I hate air domination, all my bombers become as good as useless. Which if I've just spent on of my big research boosters to help unlock parts for them...... Honestly Id happily wait a little bit longer to skip air domination.
