Dear Pilots and Tankers!
On the 9th of May, the War Thunder Team met the Victory Day together with some of our players in Odintsovo, near Moscow in Russia. Those in attendance could try the latest model of the Oculus Rift, participate in draws for souvenirs and of course, just chat with the developers. The highlight of the event was the presentation of new vehicles. In Odintsovo, our guests heard first hand about the future plans of the development of the game.
Today, we will reveal the inside information to all and will show you two interesting new vehicles to be added with one of the incoming updates!
Douglas B-18 Bolo
The majority of countries did not have the vehicles that met the high requirements of the military command. The US, for instance ,did not have a good medium bomber - and it was civil aviation that solved the problem. Not unlike the Germans that created their He.111 based on a passenger aircraft, the Americans adapted the civil B-18 to military needs. The “Bolo” could carry an impressive bomb load.

Now let us introduce some completely new gameplay - the first but not last rocket tank which was armed with guided missile weaponry! The chassis of the T-62 carrying no guns, just 15 deadly guided missiles. An enemy behind a hill? No problem for an experienced gunner! IT-1 - one of the first rocket tanks armed with ATGMs in War Thunder.

ST-1 OK But why Add something between He162 and MiG15. Also don't forget about German 7.3 tank (maybe after Panther II?) We need those
Looking at the video. IT-1 fires stronk soviet ATGM. Panzer 4 procesdes to drive along like nothing hapened. Now on to a serious note. Id liek to point out a few things to peopel cryign it iw llbe OP You have here a T-62 that fires what is essentialy a slow moving HEATFS that leaves a clearly visible smoke trail. Also when the weapon is loaded there is a big frigin rocket on the outside.....figure out what to do with that.
i hope soon we can start playing as battle ships carriers and some other planes I hope please war thunder please....

Well, the Bolo is very interesting, the IT-1 breaches into tech levels we should not represent here, since the next step would be anti-tank missle on planes and all the screaming that would bring on. I will remain a Thunder player, in the hopes we see a reformation of the US Jet tree, wherein we can grind through F2H, to Panther, to the swept wing F9F-6 Cougar, to the FJ-1 (The US Navy's F-86 which predates the F-86 slightly. Otherwise, more early planes for all nations would be great thankyou
With a vehicle like the IT-1 it is very likely that something will be added for the other nations in order to balance it out. Because Germany, Britain and the USA all have within or near to the cut off.
