The Chieftain is quite a good looking machine! The art team did a great job replicating it in game :)
agreed, they excelled at this one
nice work on this commenting thing. got bored talking in forum! thanks.
You are very welcome! :-)
With the Chieftain in game, NATO forces have three MBTs from the '60s, yet the PACT side dont even have the T-55 for some weird reason, not to mention the T-62, the contemporary tank of the M60, Leopard 1 and Chieftain. WTF? I would also like to mention that the earliest T-64, the one with the 115mm cannon and without composite armor, would fit well into the game.
we got 1953 T10M and players crying about russian bias
1953 T10M... with 1967 ammo.* But that said, the USSR will be getting the T-62 'soon' as far as we know, so it's not worth whining about.
this tank need to upgrade accelration
its a bit slow in RB & SB better when fully upgraded, in AB its fine. But agree it could do with an acceleration boost.
Well it is a bit irrelevant but when will the snail award competition winners be announced ??
i was already https://warthunder.com/en/news/3683-competitions-snail-awards-heroes-redux-winners-en/
when will you add something to balance the FREE APDS (almost HEAT shells) with 7.5s reload and the fact that it is built in 1966 making it the verry latest tank
I would like the turning speed looked into for the tracks, apart from that fantastic, well done DEVS.
It has a 7.5 sec reload and it has to load 2 things to fire. The gunpowder and Warhead and its not a auto loader its historical reload is 11sec, 7.5 is way too fast for a tank that has to load gunpowder and the warhead
After testing it out again today, I can still see that HESH and HEAT v Side Skirts are still broken. You might want to fix that?
Well i am grinding towards it, and all i can say is it better be better than the awful Conqueror which is still bugged with shells magically disappearing once fired every so often not to mention it is just horrible all-round. Now hopefully they have got it right with this machine as she looks so nice, very easy to kill just like the leopard but the gun and mobility cancel out the disadvantage of this setback for the leopard so lets just hope it is worth the lions as the Conqueror sure wasn't.
